I recently had PRK at the Nashville location.I honestly had a horrible experience.I haven't had the contact lens removed and I'm already looking for another provider to do so.The Nashville location for Loden is ok, but lacks customer service. The smyrna location front desk is very unprofessional, at this location be prepared to wait 1-2 hours or more.everyones experience is different. However, after my bad experience, I wouldn't recommend either location to anyone.

I don't think I've ever written a negative review online; however, my experience with Loden Vision is horrendous enough and a such a GIGANTIC waste of time that I am compelled to do so. I would give zero stars if the rating system supported it. I have worn RGP contacts for decades now, so I've always worn them the entire time I've been a patient at Loden. Each year brings some fresh new hell related to their ability to see/treat RGP contact wearers. I've dealt with them as they've arisen, and as a result each time I make an appointment, I remind them I wear RGP contacts hoping to minimize the chance for surprises. This year was no different. I'm on the phone over 20 mins making the appt confirming I wear RGP contacts and confirming the doctor I'm seeing can provide an annual exam for an RGP contact wearer. Confirmed all the way around on all accounts. Take off work for the appointment. Check in. Wait. Get seated in the chair and start the vision tests only to be told they cannot do a refraction unless I've not worn the contacts for DAYS beforehand. I can't get new ones. I can't get an Rx for glasses, nothing, because of course there is no way for me to retroactively stop wearing my contacts before the exam, having only received this information during the exam. They have no explanation why I wasn't told this in advance and fully acknowledged not telling me beforehand. I am AN ESTABLISHED patient who has ALWAYS worn these contacts and has always had an exam while wearing them and have never before been told to go sans contacts for DAYS before the exam. What a gigantic waste of time. Note that Amber O was a gleaming oasis of calm and apology in the midst of what otherwise is a circus. If you are an RGP contact wearer, run, don't walk, away from this place.

I had Lasik performed nine years ago at the Nashville office. I was not fully informed of potential negative outcomes. I needed corrective lenses again immediately following the procedure to correct an astigmatism in both eyes that I did not have prior to the procedure. My records state I was informed that Lasik would not cure my floaters or photosensitivity but would not make either worse which is untrue as Lasik increases both of these. I wish I would have been properly informed that the halos, starbursts, dry eye, eye pain, etc could potentially be life long but instead I was told the side effects would go away within six months. Nine years later I still deal with the daily and I would never recommend this procedure to anyone. I guess the staff was okay other than the gaslighting when I complained of ghosting images and finally had to see another clinic not involved in Lasik to get help. Because I was able to read the eye chart they labeled my procedure a success and it is not. I wish for my old eyes back every day.

Extremely unhappy with my visit to Loden center from start to finish. When I arrived I was greeted by the front desk personnel, I was given paperwork to fill out, and told I could start looking for frames. The selection was very small, and very expensive. I was taken to a room with a technician, where she asked me some health questions, and she did the exam portion of it to tell my what my RX was. Every slide she showed me was blurry and had little to no change. I told the technician and she said the doctor would verify it. She then dilated my eyes, which I was not told would happen before the exam. I had to drive myself home after have my eyes dilated, which I informed her, I had no one to drive me home. I was then taken back to a room where I waited over 30 minutes for a doctor to come in. I advised the doctor that none of the slides showed any difference and they were all blurry. She told me that I have eye allergies, 20/20 vision with a slight astigmatism. I have worn glasses since I was 10 years old. I can promise you, I don't have 20/20 vision. I have also have never been told I have eye allergies which caused my blurry vision. I told her that the eyedrops that were used were making my eyes very itchy and they burned extremely bad. She wants me to buy eye allergy drops and dry eye drops and use them for a week or two and then return to have my vision rechecked. My appointment was at 10:40 AM and I didn't fully get my vision back until 8:30 PM. Today, my eyes are very sore, very itchy, and hurt extremely bad. I have NEVER had an experience like this with an eye doctor and am extremely disappointed that I will now have to pay out of pocket for another exam elsewhere.

My eye doctor is no longer at Loden Vision in Gallatin TN. So they made my appointment with a Dr. Mills. She was so rude and mean. I will never go back to any Loden Vision again. Doctors seem to come and go.J. L.
