I felt EXCRUCIATING PAIN all throughout my cataract surgery, because they said I was allergic to steroids, when I wasn't. Yup felt everything (clamping, removal of the lens, lasering, all of it).Told Loden Vision. Loden (I refuse to call him Dr. because he is not worthy of it), avoiding me for a month before contacting me. I went through excruciating pain during and for a week after before they finally gave me steroids to control the pain/pressure in my eyes.A month later Loden finally called me and tried to say it was my fault. He was so busy floating his boat about his lasering techniques that he did not care how I felt or what I went through.Loden finally admitted he and his staff were responsible after I peppered him with questions (only to shut me up).Once they get you into Loden's surgery ward you are no longer a patient, you then become a number on an assembly line and another dollar amount in his bank.AVOID LODEN AT ALL COSTS, IF YOU ARE SMART!!!

After 3 visits, nothing has been done to fix my vision. Each doctor I saw gave me conflicting information from the other doctors. The two surgeons I saw are not even on the website. The surgeons were in a hurry to get my husband and I out of the exam room and disrespectfully ignored my husband by not asking if he had any questions before rushing out the room. Explanations were ambiguous at best and it all felt very rushed. The surgeons "better than thou" attitude was the biggest turn off. The surgeons must be from out of state, because they totally lacked the southern charm we Tennesseans have come to expect.

Went for a routine eye exam and paid $35 up front per the insurance I have. As I was leaving I asked for my prescription as their glasses cost way more than I can get somewhere else. That's when they asked for another $55 for "refraction" which is why I went in the first place. Refraction is just testing your vision to see what strength glasses you need. It's been included in every vision test I've ever had. To ask for another $55 after the exam that they routinely do on all patients is deceiving and a rip off. Why didn't they ask for it up front or at least let me know there was going to be an extra charge? It tells me that A- they're using deceptive practices, B- I'll never be back and C- I'll warn anybody else about Loden who would ever consider going to them.
