I'm very upset. A few months ago I scheduled annual vision exams for my two girls. A couple of weeks ago, when I received a text reminder about the upcoming appointments, I called Loden and rescheduled for today. Today we showed up and were told that as of April 2023 Loden is no longer in network with our insurance. No one thought to tell me that two weeks ago? We have been patients for three years now. All our contact info is in the system, why not inform patients about this upcoming change by email, text message or a letter? I am very disappointed. Our morning is wasted and I need to find a new, in network provider with availability before school begins.

I was SO excited to get in to this clinic. Ive heard nothing but positive reviews. I get there and Dr Joseph Parker was supposed to see me.Never have I been treated so unprofessionally. From the aggressive way he entered the room and aggressive body posture to the way he spoke to me. I ended the visit before he even started his exam.Hopefully he just had an off encounter. Maybe an off day. I would hope that a facility so well respected would not employ someone that behaved like this if it were an all the time thing.The truly bad thing is Dr Parkers behavior ruined a stellar experience. Everyone I had spoken too had been wonderful. The support staff are top notch. One provider and one nasty conversation totally ruined it.

I have been going to Loden since they came to Smyrna but after this last visit i will not be back. The dr was ok but i went for a diabetic eye exam and even told them i always come twice for the vision screening. They said they did the vision check anyway and wanted to charge me $55. Where if I came back it would be free through my insurance. ( one visit through medical insurance and the 2nd vision check though eye insurance) I think this is a scam and have decided to start going elsewhere. Makes no sense, why would I pay for vison insurance and not want to use it.
