    I have needed glasses/contacts since I was 10 with worsening vision well into my 30s. After 20 years of waiting, my eyes finally stabilized around -8.5 prescription and my eye doctor recommended Dr. Tremblay at Mann Eye South Austin.The entire process from scheduling all the way through the procedure and aftercare was wonderful, I have genuinely no complaints and I am so thankful. The South Austin location is accessible, clean, and welcoming and the entire staff was amazing every step of the way. I hope that I will not need additional vision correction for many years, but I would 100% use Mann Eye again and highly recommend them based on my personal experience.Mel helped me schedule my initial consult and even followed up on a question for me quickly and effectively before my appointment, and helped me reschedule when life happened - above and beyond service, thank you Mel!Prior to my consult, I was repeatedly informed not to wear my contacts for 3-5 days before my appointment because they can affect the shape of your eye and therefore the measurements. Despite the adequate info and reminders given, I still managed to forget and did not take my contacts out until the day before my exam - totally my bad. The staff at Mann Eye were super understanding and completed most of my initial consult, then helped me schedule an additional quick follow up to re-measure before my procedure date. Had I followed the original instructions, there would only have been one evaluation needed, so heads up to all you contact wearers to listen to the instructions!Beyond that, Heather was super helpful in discussing my options for payment and scheduling and was able to get me booked within a couple of weeks (yay FSA!). My 2nd visit was easy, the procedure itself was quick and essentially painless, minus some expected redness/discomfort, and I went home and slept afterwards. Again, I forgot something and left my wallet/ID at home, but Deborah was great about it, checked in on me while I waited for my partner to pick me up, and even patiently ran my 3 different payment methods so I could use up my annual benefits.The following day was rough in terms of light sensitivity, but I felt better after my follow up where the doctor confirmed all was good (20/20 vision!) and explained it may take a little longer to recover due to my strong prescription correction. I rested another day, using my eye drops religiously, and woke up a whole new person on the second day after my procedure.I can see! Like really well. Without having to put something on my face or eyeball first. I wake up and I can see my partners face, and I can see across the room, and so much more. Its life changing for me - I dont have to worry about being unable to recognize my family if my glasses break, I dont have to pack contact lenses and solution every time I travel, and I can finally read the big E (and more of those pesky letters). I expected these results, but I am still blown away with my new vision and my experience with Mann Eye.I tried to remember the names of the folks that helped me, but honestly everyone was amazing and the whole South Austin team deserves a trip to Hawaii! Dr. Tremblay, Dr. Cessac, Mel, Heather, Deborah, Chris, Andi, Alex, Alyssa, Elvia, Sarah, Christina, Madison, Mirta, and anyone else I forgot - I appreciate you all!

    I recently went to the Mann eye institute for a lasik consultation. The entire process was seamless and super helpful. From the moment I walked in till leaving it was a great experience! Christina was myWork up tech and did such a great job with running my tests. Heather was my counselor once approved for lasik and I couldnt have asked for a better set up. She explained the whole process in detail and I walked out of the office with a surgery date set up! I could not recommend this office any more! They are a must! Thank you all!

    Dr Brudrett answered all my medical questions and Heather answered all my financial questions. Heather went above and beyond to schedule my appointments together since I was coming from out of town. Great staff!

    I had such an amazing experience with Mann Eye and their staff!! Chris and Deb at the front desk answered all my questions to get me started, and my tech Mirla was amazing!! She was so informative and walked me through every test for my consultation. When I got to see Dr. Cessac, i was really insecure about how poor my vision is and was welcomed with 0 judgement and alll compassion. She answered all my questions and the consultation was just overall everything i couldve asked for, free of charge!! They wrapped up the consult with a counselor, and i was blessed with a woman named Heather. She was very knowledgeable and did everything she could to help make sure I got the best plan for my eyes! So excited for my procedure in a couple weeks!!
