The people were really friendly and informative. The doctor provided all the information needed with a lot of patience. If you have vision plus plan in your insurance, this is the best place to get your eyes fixed

Before Lasik I'd worn glasses for 24 years and 15 years of that I wore contacts--I'm 30 years old! I was the girl with the thick lenses on my glasses, I was so blind, nearsighted and had astigmatism and a different prescription for each eye. I was so excited to have my consultation and find out that I was a candidate for Lasik. Glasses/ contacts were a big part of my everyday day routine, it is so great to not have that hassle anymore. I had terrible vision that caused me to wear glasses or contacts for years. After hearing from a friend that they were considering LASIK, I did some research and quickly came to the conclusion that Mann Eye Institute would be the best choice for me. The initial consultation went well and all my questions were answered. Within a week, I had the surgery and to my amazement I went from someone who had 20/200 vision (that was my GOOD eye before) to someone with great vision! Everything was painless and my eyes have never been dry. At night I will see "halos", but it does not impede me from driving. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and helped make the process smooth. I recommend this location (Austin - Barton Creek location) to anyone who needs eye surgery!

LASIK corrective eye surgery at the Mann Eye Institute has given me back my vision. The morning after my first LASIK surgery on the lazy eye 8 years ago, after I woke up and everything was clear, all I could think about was that song, "I can see clearly now, the rain is gone." The quality of their work is more than evident when I say that after the success of the first LASIK procedure, my mother, father, and wife have all had LASIK done here. Less than 6 months ago I had LASIK performed on the eye not previously operated on. That I would trust the vision of my entire family with them speaks to the quality of their work. I have a newborn, and if she ever has eye problems, there's no other place I'd trust more to take care of her than the Mann Eye Institute. It's not the "cheapest" price you'll find, but you NEVER want to go to cheap on eye surgery. It's a fair price and worth every penny for honestly one of the highest quality and most successful eye surgery centers in the nation.
