I recently experienced LASIK eye surgery at Mann Eye Institute and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very caring and personal, everyone was very nice and prompt with my appointment. Dr. Beavers was a pleasure and I am very happy to announce that i now have 20/15 vison. Yay for me!!!!

I just got Lasik done yesterday. Some people complain about the in and out type of business ... i wish i had that type of experience. I had to stay there for 3.5 hours on the day of surgery. I was expecting it to be a bit faster, but I understand since it was on a Friday and there were a lot of people getting Lasik done that day. ymmv. Besides that, the rest of the experience was 100% positive. Dr. Cessac was the one checking my eyes the day before surgery. I was free to ask questions, i didn't get that rushed feeling some other mentioned in their reviews. She walked me through everything. Day of surgery, Dr. Mann checked out my eyes and did the surgery which takes like 5 minutes... it's the waiting around and presurgery tests that takes the rest of the 3+ hours. No pain, and everything went smooth. When i got home, took a nap as suggested and woke up with constant flow of tears. This lasted for maybe a half hour. Everything from then on was smooth sailing. Vision was probably at 90% on left eye and 70% on right eye by the end of the day Post op was today and everything checked out, Dr. Cessac explained to me why my right eye wasn't seeing as clear (it was due to more swelling on that eye vs the left). Vision is getting better by the hour. I fully expect to see perfectly in the next week. All in all, i would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for Lasik. Kristin, Roland, and all the other techs and doctors are amazing. The level of customer service was absolutely outstanding. If i go blind suddenly in the next couple years, ill be sure to revise my review using a brail keyboard. **update** it took a couple months for me to see 20/20 but mann eye checked up on me every month. absolutely worth your time and money.

I was given laser eye surgery as a Christmas gift at Mann Eye Institute, and I must say, it's by far the best gift I've ever received. I am 28 years old, have been wearing very strong prescriptive glasses since 3rd grade and have had to special order contacts and pay extra to get frames shaved for my glasses because of the thickness over the years since. I didn't see anything but blur and color whether it be near or far. NO details. I've been told twice in a ten year span (to give technology its expanse) that I was not able to do laser surgery on my eyes because my vision is so terrible. I had -16/-14 at one point. I believe when I showed up to Mann Eye it was -14 and the only person before me with that kind of vision was a -12, so I was still, the "special" case. They tested my eyes, corneal thickness, and did some thinking and told me that YES! I could finally go ahead with the surgery!!! They said I would probably be a 20/40 or somewhere around there and may still need glasses or contacts, even just at night. Everyone was very nice and stood by me to answer any questions I had. The surgery went smoothly and quickly, and I was able to see the very next day!!! Things were still very fresh and a little blurry, but I could see! I was able to drive myself to my appointment the next day! My vision has only improved since then and I left there with 20/25 eyesight!!! I don't have to wear glasses or contacts! It truly is amazing and I have the people of Mann Eye, and my Aunt of course to thank for it. Thank you to everyone, especially, Roland Leon, Alyssa, Mirta, Connie, Kristin and to Dr. Mcintire for all of your help and for keeping me calm and up to speed on the entire process. Even for checking on me consistently afterwards. I greatly appreciate everything you've done and I highly recommend your company to my friends, family and co-workers. It's a miracle that after all these years of wishing for "decent" eyesight and trying to get this surgery that in just a couple minutes, you guys made my dreams come true. I'm blessed to have new eyes and I have you to thank for it!! Mandy Leon

Excellent service, savvy surgery. I went to an intense engineering school for college, but I often find myself in sales and business. One of the big things I look for is that the talk matches the walk. Here, it's really true - I'm writing this with 20/15 and my recovery has been guided by the best. To change my driver's license and some other forms I required a lot of additional assistance from Kristin Rickman primarily, who runs the front desk. She's super busy and yet, somehow managed to be super charitable with her time and always extremely friendly. Can't say I would have had a better customer experience anywhere else. Move over Zappos :)
