I was given laser eye surgery as a Christmas gift at Mann Eye Institute, and I must say, it's by far the best gift I've ever received. I am 28 years old, have been wearing very strong prescriptive glasses since 3rd grade and have had to special order contacts and pay extra to get frames shaved for my glasses because of the thickness over the years since. I didn't see anything but blur and color whether it be near or far. NO details. I've been told twice in a ten year span (to give technology its expanse) that I was not able to do laser surgery on my eyes because my vision is so terrible. I had -16/-14 at one point. I believe when I showed up to Mann Eye it was -14 and the only person before me with that kind of vision was a -12, so I was still, the "special" case. They tested my eyes, corneal thickness, and did some thinking and told me that YES! I could finally go ahead with the surgery!!! They said I would probably be a 20/40 or somewhere around there and may still need glasses or contacts, even just at night. Everyone was very nice and stood by me to answer any questions I had. The surgery went smoothly and quickly, and I was able to see the very next day!!! Things were still very fresh and a little blurry, but I could see! I was able to drive myself to my appointment the next day! My vision has only improved since then and I left there with 20/25 eyesight!!! I don't have to wear glasses or contacts! It truly is amazing and I have the people of Mann Eye, and my Aunt of course to thank for it. Thank you to everyone, especially, Roland Leon, Alyssa, Mirta, Connie, Kristin and to Dr. Mcintire for all of your help and for keeping me calm and up to speed on the entire process. Even for checking on me consistently afterwards. I greatly appreciate everything you've done and I highly recommend your company to my friends, family and co-workers. It's a miracle that after all these years of wishing for "decent" eyesight and trying to get this surgery that in just a couple minutes, you guys made my dreams come true. I'm blessed to have new eyes and I have you to thank for it!!<br><br>Mandy Leon

Excellent service, savvy surgery. I went to an intense engineering school for college, but I often find myself in sales and business. One of the big things I look for is that the talk matches the walk. Here, it's really true - I'm writing this with 20/15 and my recovery has been guided by the best.<br><br>To change my driver's license and some other forms I required a lot of additional assistance from Kristin Rickman primarily, who runs the front desk. She's super busy and yet, somehow managed to be super charitable with her time and always extremely friendly.<br><br>Can't say I would have had a better customer experience anywhere else. Move over Zappos :)

My experience at Mann Eye for LASIK was amazing! The whole process was smooth and enjoyable. Kristin is awesome the way she greets you at the door and knows your name. Roland, Mirta, Jara, Alyssa and Dr. McIntire were also friendly, cheerful, and informative. There were little to no wait times and the whole process flew by. I loved the stuffed animal they gave me during surgery to ease my nerves, even though it's only a couple of minutes. Thank you Mann eye Institute, I love my 20/15 vision!

After viewing several Lasik centers and studying the procedure I finally decided to take the leap. I chose Mann Eye because of their attention to detail on explaining the entire procedure, their testing to determine if I was a good candidate and their professionalism on surgery day. Thanks to Roland, Dr. Cessac, Alyssa and Kristin for the perfect 20/15 vision. I should have done this a long time ago.
