I had cataract surgery on October 3, 2017. It was a very professional interaction with the staff. They made me feel very comfortable with the procedure. I highly recommend Mann Eye Institue for all your optical needs. Dr Barker was amazing!

I had Lasik at Mann Eye (South Austin) last Friday, 9/14/18, and could not be happier! The day of surgery I arrived at the clinic at 10:30 and was all done by 12:15. I spent less than 15 minutes in the actual surgery room. The procedure itself felt very fast. They gave me a stuffed animal to cuddle, a heavy blanket to keep me warm as its very cold in the room, and a nurse held my hand- poor thing... I probably crushed it! I was given valium to relax before the procedure and help sleep after- it definitely worked! Dr. Mann called around 9:15 that night to see how I was feeling and seeing. I went in the next morning for a follow up appointment and was told I am seeing 20/15 with both eyes open, 20/20 with one open/one closed on each side. I could not be happier! I wish I had done this sooner.

Very courteous and professional. Explained what I needed for Lasik and help me understand my options.
