    I'm going on almost 2 full years since my surgery and every day that I wake up and am able to read my alarm clock, I realize that visiting Dr. Mann was the smartest decision I've ever made. Be careful when you're out there looking at eye centers around town as not all of them have the technology than Mann employs. They've got the newest equipment and lasers, and that alone makes a big difference.<br><br>The consultations were very thorough and I knew exactly what the procedure would entail after my meetings with the staff. Paul Mann was my surgeon and he did a great job, and was also very likable. As for side-effects, I haven't experienced any of the common ones that get described such as halos around bright lights. After a week or so, all of that was gone. In fact, the very day after my surgery, I attended a UT football game...in the daytime...and watched in with 20/15 vision. It was incredible.<br><br>I've got no complaints about Mann Eye and would recommend anyone consider it for lasik eye surgery.

    Dr. Mann Sr. is of the best lasik physicians in the country. He is the best lasik Dr. in Texas. I had some very poor eyes done. I was -7.50ish in both eyes plus a stigmatism. Had surgery in March 07. The results are still 20/20 in both. Mann is as good as his reputation. Thanks for a job well done!

    I had my Lasik eye surgery here on 6/17/10. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The price is reasonable compared to other local Lasik places. Mann Eye offers interest free financing as well. I had 20/20 vision within 24 hours. :) Thank you!

    Having worn glasses and contacts most of my life I finally made the choice to go for Lasik surgery. Who to trust my eyes with was a difficult one. You see Lasik for cheap. You have do some research and talk to others that have gone through it. Considerations are what type of equipment is being used and the qualifications of the doctors. <br><br>I went with Mann Eye Institute and I am a very happy I did! When I scheduled my complimentary consultation on the phone Victor was more than informed on the procedures and answered all my questions. When I arrived for the first time I was met by David and he greeted me by name even though I had never been there. Kevin the counselor sat down with me and explained the screening process, what to expect during the surgery and financial options. What I really appreciated is the fact they are honest if you are not a candidate for the surgery and what your other options may be. In addition, no long wait time in the lobby. You are seen at your appointment time with great efficiency. <br><br>My surgery was a little more complicated then most and both eyes could not be done in the same day as planned. I was disappointed but was rescheduled to come back the following week to finish up. They promised it would be done and they delivered! Apparently I have a small left eye that posed a challenge. Dr Mike Mann did not give up and his support staff was wonderful. At one point someone came in to hold my hand and boy did I squeeze (not from pain but anxiety)! After several attempts Dr Mann was able to create the flap and then on to the laser. My right eye was easier and it took less than 5 minutes. I can't even describe the elation of seeing out of both eyes now with no assistance. Dr Cessac is also a pleasure to have as the pre and follow up doctor. She's a little bundle of energy and so positive! <br><br>Thank you to the Mann doctors and their wonderful staff! I would recommend them to anyone considering Lasik.
