This is the best place in South Austin for routine and advanced eye care. I had my cataract surgery with them and I have never been able to see better. I no longer wear eye glasses to read, watch TV or drive. It's like getting a new lease on life ! First Class medical care and a very nice staff to work with.

I had LASIK here a few months ago, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Spending most hours of the day in front of a screen, I have insanely high expectations when it comes to vision clarity, and heading into surgery I was a bit concerned those wouldn't be met. The operation itself was unbelievably quick, and the results were immediate. I did have some trouble with dry eyes and relatively blurry vision in one of my eyes for as long as six weeks, but I was reassured those issues would be resolved eventually, and they were. I'm now 20/15 in both eyes!The folks at Mann Eye have seen it all, and the experience shows. It's not the cheapest option, but well worth it.One minor beef with the scheduling: One of my appointments included an unexpected dilation, which lengthens the visit substantially and hinders screen-work for an hour or two afterward. I recommend improving communication of which visits include a dilated eye exam.
