    I had cataract surgery on my first eye 3 weeks ago and I can now sit here at the computer, reading the small print without any glasses. I can not wait to get my other eye taken care of next week. I have visited both the North Austin and Via Fortuna locations and have been very impressed with the staff at both. Mann appears to be a very happy place to work and the staff responds by giving the very best of care and service. Kristin at the front desk at the Via Fortuna location was especially impressive.A few years ago I took my mother to a different eye center and it was like an assembly line - not so at Mann. They treat their patients like valued guests and always seem to have enough time to answer questions. There is also a lot of support via text, e-mail and phone regarding appointments. Now about Dr Luke Barker.... well he is awesome! While I am not very religious I was still touched that he came in to say a little prayer before starting my surgery. He promised me he would do a good job and he did! The staff at the hospital were all very helpful, supportive and courteous too. All in all, something I had been dreading for years has so far turned out to be a great experience. A little pain and discomfort during the actual surgery, but it was quickly over with and I have had no problems with recovery.I am seeing better with just one good eye than I have seen in many years. Those cataracts kind of sneaked up on me and I did not realize how much I was missing.

    Wow what an awesome experience. That entire staff was amazing. Thank you Roland Leon for getting me all setup. Everyone at my office goes here for Lasik, so I cant wait to recommend the next patient.

    I visited the office in Houston. i must say they are amazing they made me feel relaxed and answered all my question, I went through two days of testing before they doctors would do my lasik. They do an AMAZING job to make sure your a candidate for Lasik . so you dont have to worry about them just taking your money. The Doctors and the staff at Mann Eye are absolutely the best. I had the pleasure of having Ms. Dina Owens as my Guardian angel during my procedure as i became frighten with the pressure. She was in there holding my hand during the entire time . Dr. Paul Mann was my surgeon and he was amazing, he was very patient with me as i couldnt keep my eyes open during the first part of the surgery, never rushing me helping me relax. Everyone in the room was AMAZING. they were compassionate, Relaxing, and down right a very well composed group. If you have any thoughts about getting Lasik you NEED to come to Mann Eye for your free consultation!

    I had Lasik surgery in early January at Mann Eye and was quite nervous heading into the procedure. However, the entire staff was more than willing to answer any question I had, and made me feel very comfortable with my decision. Roland was quite helpful and very clear about the procedure, cost, and what to expect. Alyssa was my technician, and she was outstanding! She answered all my questions, and discussed the pre-op/post-op tests in detail with me. I saw Dr Barker for my pre-op appointment and he took the time to discuss my numerous questions and put my mind at ease. brbrThe procedure itself was easy and pain-free. It took only a minute or two, which was much faster than I anticipated. Dr. Cessac called me the evening of the procedure to see how I was doing and make sure everything was okay. I was given clear written post-op instructions and contact info in case I had any questions or concerns. I never felt alone during the recovery process, which was comforting. brbrMy follow-up appointments have been quick and easy. Dr. Barker and Alyssa have been great, and have explained why my eyes have been dry and what I should expect between then and my next appointment. brbrTwo months out and I am extremely pleased with my Lasik surgery, and even more happy I chose Mann Eye to perform the surgery! I would recommend them to all my friends and family.
