After many years of annoying contacts, last Friday I got LASIK and couldn't be happier! I was nervous, even though my dad successfully had the procedure 10 yrs ago when they still used blades! (eek) I had heard of Mann Eye on the radio (Bobby Bones) but the commercials do them no justice! I went to the south location was as soon as I walked through the doors I felt instantly at ease. Kristen and the other ladies at the front are positive and excited to help you, making you happy to arrive. Roland was my consultant; he answered all of my questions thoroughly, explained the procedure and everything I should expect. He, as well as the rest of the staff, offered his own personal experiences that helped calm my nerves. The actual surgery was 8 min long and I could instantly see! After my 1 week check up I'm better than 20/20! Recovery has been a breeze and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! Overall, easy to schedule, great Drs and staff, in and out apps, and awesome results! Thank you Mann Eye and your amazing staff, y'all are awesome! I would definitely recommend!

From the first entrance into the office to my most recent followup apt (1 month out) my experience with Mann Eye has been incredible. Never been treated so well at an office and truly felt like they cared and welcomed me into their family :) <br>They were timely, courteous, and did a great job! The entire "surgery" for my lasik seems like it lasted less than 5 minutes and I was in and out of the office within about an hour! I went home and took a nap and was fine just a little dry but the drops helped tremendously. Following day I could see 20/20 and about a week later I was at 20/15! Best decision ever! Would highly recommend the surgery to anyone who is a candidate! Thank you to my power team~Dr. Paul Mann, Roland Leon, Alyssa Flores, Mirta Ford, and Connie Busicchia!!!!!

Went to Mann Eye for a basic eye exam. The staff there was very welcoming and friendly. Kristin Rickman was very helpful and made me feel at ease during my appointment. I will be using them again for my eye care needs. :)

I don't normally review places on Yelp, but after my experience at Mann Eye Institute I felt the need to. Last year my dad had Cataract surgery at the Mann Eye in Houston and recommended it to me when I started looking for a place to get LASIK here in Austin. I went in for the consultation, everything went well, and I was scheduled for the surgery the next week.<br><br>Everything from the initial consultation to the surgery was great. All instructions were explained thoroughly and I felt like I had a great understanding of what to expect. I'm somewhat of a worrier (ok, I'm a huge worrier) and I panicked about the actual surgery and probably ended up asking 1 too many questions. Even though I talked their ears off, I never felt like my questions were a bother or that I was asking too much. Everyone was extremely nice and the whole staff was genuinely excited about LASIK which made the process all that much better. <br><br>For anyone curious about the actual surgery, it was really quick. I had little to no wait time the morning of and was in and out within an hour or so. I went home and took a nap and when I woke up, things were pretty clear. I had a follow up visit the next morning that I was able to drive myself to and my vision has only continued to improve since then. <br><br>I've had glasses/contacts for the past 15 years with -5.25 vision in each eye. Basically all I saw were blobs of color. At my follow up they told me I have 20/15 vision now which is pretty impressive :) <br><br>Overall, what I'm trying to say is that this is a great place to go. The people are friendly, the doctors are trustworthy and the overall experience is a great one. If you're thinking about getting LASIK I would definitely recommend it, I'm only a week in a I can already tell that it's a life changer.

Easy, straight forward, and friendly. I have 20/15 vision following my surgery and no complications thus far two weeks in. Unlike some of my coworkers who told me their eyes were burning that night, I woke up that night without any discomfort at all and perfect vision. Would highly recommend.
