    I originally went in for my free LASIK consultation about 18 months ago, and was told I was not a good candidate (primarily due to the fact that my eyes were still changing, so not a real shocker). I went back last week, and was told I know appeared to be a perfect candidate and we could do the surgery as soon as I was ready. I had the surgery the following morning. Throughout my visits, I met with Dr. Brunson, Dr. Chin, and Dr. Mike Mann. The majority of my time was spent with Dr. Brunson. He and his staff were extremely professional during each of my visits and took the time to talk with me about the results of each of my various scans, and helped me understand why I was / wasn't a good candidate for LASIK. I never felt like I was being rushed out of the office. On the day of the surgery, it was clear how experienced the doctors were - they were excellent at walking you through the procedure, answering any / all questions you had, and keeping you calm. In fact, Dr. Mann (who actually performed the surgery) and his operating staff did a fantastic job during the procedure to keep things light and calm, and talked with me throughout the whole process to make sure I knew what was happening, and to make sure I was doing okay. All in all, the experience was fantastic, from start to finish, and I consider it the best money I have ever spent.I would recommend Mann Eye Institute to anyone, whether you're just interested in a regular eye exam, or if you are interested in LASIK.

    Just had my one year check up with my eye doctor, and my vision is GREAT! He couldn't believe how well my eyes healed and said if I hadnt shared that I had LASIK done he wouldn't have been able to tell just by looking! :-)

    My name is Kelly and I am an employee of MEI Katy. I've been in the eye industry for 16 yrs and I have to say that MEI is by far my favorite employer! Their quality of care goes far beyond just helping patients with eye exams. Their employees and patients become family very quickly. I am very proud to say I work for an employee driven company! I hope to be apart of this team for a long long tine!

    Went for my 2 year check up. All is good! Again, very serious surgery (Visian ICL's) but NO complications. Thank you Dr. Mann and the staff! Also ran into Dina who walked me through the entire process. She is great and remembered me. Thanks Dina! I would contact her if you need LASIK or Visian ICL's.

    My husband and I could not be more impressed with Mann Eye Institute. From the second we stepped through the door, we were greeted with friendly faces and welcoming words.<br><br>We went in for my husbands' LASIK consultation at 8AM on a Friday, were seen immediately, went through the entire process (you do get shuffled around but they run it much like an assembly line and it's extremely efficient!) It was probably about an hour and a half of screenings and seeing different doctors...but in the end we were actually given the go-ahead for my husband to have his procedure done THE SAME DAY! We thought we would have to wait a few weeks but the stars were aligned and the staff was so incredible and efficient! We left the office at 10AM for lunch and came back at 2 for the schedule surgery!<br><br>We have just left and he is now home recovering, it's 4:30 PM! We go back tomorrow morning for his follow-up appointment and he is already seeing clearly! <br><br>We are so impressed with the staff - I wish I could remember everyone's names, but need to give a special thank you to Dina and Priscilla, Dr. Paul Mann who performed my husbands surgery, and my own personal thank you to Dr. Phillip Brunson who sat by me and explained every step of my husbands surgery while I watched through their window and a large TV screen! <br><br>Such an incredible experience we had today. My husband is happy, I am happy, and we are so blessed to have found the Mann Eye Institute!!
