    My experience with Mann Eye goes back a long way. After my wife and I moved to Houston in the late 70s, friends recommended we visit Dr. Robert Gillette for eye care. His office was located at the corner of Binz and San Jacinto. Unfortunately he died of cancer at an early age. I'm not sure exactly what his relationship with Dr. Mann was, but at that time I started with Mann, which is today the Mann Eye Institute located on Main St. Over all the years since, I have never entertained the thought of using anyone else. I hardly have enough words in my vocabulary to tell you how much I respect how good they are. Their facility, the staff, and how they conduct their whole operation is just excellent. And just as their technical expertise is top rated, so is their relationship with the care of customers. When I have occasion to visit their offices I feel as if I'm visiting with old friends. Friends who are deeply concerned about my well being and who will do everything they can to see that I'm well cared for, and completely satisfied with any procedures that were necessary. They get my highest rating in all respects. All five stars +++++!

    Mann Eye Institute is such a great institution! Both my husband and I just got our Lasik done by Dr. Mike and Paul Mann. They are both very professional and friendly. All the doctors there answered all our questions. Julie and Grace were also very helpful in our pre and post-op visits. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The procedure was not bad at all. You just feel a bit of pressure and there was a smell of the laser. It took about 15 mins. The wait is the only long part. But other than that it was quick and simple. The first couple hours there is discomfort and burns a bit. They give you valium so you have to sleep through it. YOU NEED TO SLEEP THROUGH IT! or else it will hurt. I sleep for about 4hrs and woke up and everything was a lot better. Now both my husband and I can see without the need for glasses or contacts anymore! LOVE IT! Definitely life changing since we both rely on glass since we were young.

    Ashley is awesome . Best experience I've ever had picking out glasses . I can see perfectly with my glasses and I love my frames !!!!!!!!!!
