I had my lasik performed 8 years ago with Dr. Paul Mann and my husband had lasik with Dr. Mike Mann. We still love our amazing vision and continue to go there for our annual eye exams and for their great designer sunglass selection. The patient care is excellent and that is why we refer all of our friends and family to Mann Eye! You won't be disappointed.

I had an awesome experience at the Mann Eye Institute. From the initial screening to the post-op the staff at Mann were excellent. On the day of the consultation I was greeted by Dina Owens who was my handler so to speak. She was a very pleasant person to work with and I actually enjoyed talking to her about a variety of subjects in between exams. **Oh yeah, you will be shuffled from room to room during your eye exam but it made time go by faster and you never feel like you sit in one place too long. After all the exams I was cleared for the procedure. I never felt pressured to actually sign up for the operation and Dina did a great job going over all my options etc. On the day of the surgery (4 days later) I ran into Dina and she was actually excited for me :-) she again took the time to ask if I had any questions even though she was not assigned to me for that day. Dr. Mann Sr. actually performed my operation and his entire surgical staff was professional, kind, and humorous. Everyone had jokes, lol. It was a pretty seamless experience and I was surprised how quickly the laser treatment took place. On the night of the operation I only slept for about 6 hours and stayed up for pretty much the rest of the night. I thought I was going to feel discomfort or actual pain but my eyes were fine. The next day I could see out of them in HIGH DEFINITION. The post-op appointment the next morning was another great experience and Dr. Brunson is pretty awesome and very patient. He was willing to take the time to address all of my questions regarding followup eye care etc. I will provide an update to my review when a month or two have past. As of this review 4 days have past since the procedure and I can see better than I did when I wore glasses. **P.S. - I did experience the halo effect when looking at light sources the second and third day. Now I do not notice the phenomena at all. Be sure to follow the post-op protocol and everything should work out great.
