I had a Refractive Lensectomy on March 9, 2020, on both eyes. It was my first ever surgery and was probably the best doctor experience I have ever had. To sum it up in one sentence it would be It was better than a good day at the dentist! The surgeon was Dr. Mike Mann and hes done this surgery thousands and thousands of times so I knew going in that my doctor absolutely knew what he was doing. Heres what I didnt know was coming and FAR exceeded expectations 1) I got a phone call from Dr. Mann the night before to see if I was all ready and if I had any questions (Outstanding); 2) I got to the surgery center the next day and was welcomed by the receptionist who was very polite and took care of all of the check-in stuff and payment; 3) The professionals in the pre-procedure room were all fantastic with doing their job and reassuring me that this was the best place to have this surgery done; 4) In the operating room, it was cool so they put a blanket over me and then the procedure began with Dr. Mike reciting a prayer to Almighty God imploring his help with the surgery (Outstanding!) and he kept in touch with me every step of the way describing what was going on and how much time was remaining (again, Outstanding!); At some point during the procedure for the first eye, even though I was given two valiums, one of the staff present must have noticed I was tense - she took my hand and reassuringly held it for the rest of the procedure (again, Outstanding and what a nice thing to do!). So, a huge THANK YOU to Brandy, Monica P., Amanda, Kelli, Amber, Monica, Alex V., Mary and of course Dr. Mike Mann. AND to the person who phoned me that evening to see how I was doing!Lastly, there are many places to have this procedure done, but the difference maker is the service you get when you arrive for your appointment until you leave for home - Absolutely Outstanding! To end my review I will simply say...Im a very happy boy!

Mann eye clinic will always make things right, follow up and make sure you understand and are comfortable with the situation. <br><br> 3-2020.. It's almost a year since my surgery and I am hearing from a friend that they charge you for follow ups. I don't think I will be returning to this This facility. They lie and promise many things and never follow through.
