    I had my Lasik done in 2000. Still going strong. No issues at all. Great place. Thank you, Dr. Ellis.

    Overall a pretty disappointing experience. Went in to see if I was a candidate for Lasik. Was told that I had to leave my contacts out for 24 hours prior to my consultation at the day of. Doctor went through with the rest of the consultation anyway, which was good. However, I felt like I was being rushed through the examination. Once done, I sat down and spoke with a consultant who stated to me that additional testing would be required and that I had to drive out to the East Bay to do it. I mentioned that I did not have a pair of glasses and that I would have to get a pair prior to the second part of the evaluation. Consultant stated to me that she would find out from the doctor if he could send in my prescription to Costco to have glasses cut and that she would call me the next day. It's been over a week and not a single follow up call. I don't like writing negative reviews, but I feel that this experience warranted it... Especially considering the fact that they're dealing with your eyes.

    This center is totally lack of care of their patients .<br><br>My husband had surgery on Tuesday , we believe that they can be easily reached as they told us if we have any questions. He was having serious problems with his left eyes on Saturday , we contacted the center immediately early in the morning by calling and leaving the message . With no answers he had to go the emergency room with the outcomes that he needs to talk to the Ellis eyes for the special treatment. Later evening he has to go to the urgent care as it really hurts a lot , the doctors in the urgent care helped us to reach out to the on call doctor but it takes more than 3 hours before the doctor called back....<br><br>Very unhappy and frustrated by the care and service of Ellis eye , we highly suggest that this is not the right place for your eyes need. Can not affor to take the risk ...With lots of money and time wasted . .,they betrayed our trust ...<br><br>Eyes are so important and precious , ... Have to select the best eye center ...

    Worst service ever. Spent an hour in the lobby after what was promised to be a 5 minute follow up appointment. Staff have zero sense of urgency and no respect for other people's time. If it's a booking issue, should schedule less appointments. Would never come back.

    Unless you like PAIN and like being treated like a herd animal, don't go here!!!<br><br>If it was possible to give them 0 stars I would.<br>I am an RN of 18 years working in every department except OB.<br><br>The doctor (Ellis) was in such a hurry that he put the numbing drops in my eyes and without waiting for them to take effect, started the procedure.<br><br>I felt as though someone was putting a burning cigar out in my eye!!!<br><br>When I cried out and told the Doctor that I was having EXTREME pain he responded by saying, " Just relax you shouldn't be feeling anything"<br><br>This was one of the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, uncaring and rude comments I've heard come out of a Doctor's mouth during a procedure/surgery!<br><br>Are you kidding me?!? I've NEVER operated on a patient without the Doctor ensuring the patient had adequate pain relief.<br><br>Doctor Ellis could have cared less about my pain. He didn't even apologize after the procedure. I've had several procedures and operations before and this was by far the most painful ever an honest to God 10 out of 10 pain!!<br><br>When I told the staff, (several of them) about my extreme pain, they just brushed me aside and couldn't wait to get me out and the next patient in.<br><br>This Company is completely disorganized and seem only concerned about getting as many patients in and out as fast as possible, as many people here have mentioned.<br><br>Spend a little extra money and go to someone who hasn't done 50,000 surgeries, ( because he's in a hurry to make more money)!!
