This is based on my surgery that I had over 7 years ago. I am still satisfied with the results, and overall had a good experience. Obviously the experience can vary depending on how your vision changes. As most Lasik surgeons will tell you, you'll want to setup your surgery when your vision has stabilized and have had the same prescription for a while. Lasik will improve your vision to 20/20 or better but it's not going to stop your eyes from worsening over time due to age, genetics and other factors. Just plan things out more thoroughly so you don't waste your money.<br><br>You do a brief consultation where they'll do an eye examination to see what you're vision is like, eye health, shape, etc. and they'll recommend a procedure that fits for you. Afterwards you'll talk to a finance person who will give you a break down of everything and their payment options. Then they'll schedule the actual surgery date, as others have already indicated the office during surgery days will feel very assembly line like. It goes by pretty quick and they're good about making sure you have everything you need.<br><br>Dr. Ellis is not exactly the most patient and easygoing person. During my surgery he was barking orders at me and raising his voice, it created a very awkward and discomforting situation. Thankfully the procedure is pretty fast.<br><br>Getting a response back for your inquiries is kind of a hassle. I tried to get receipts for my procedure so I can use the vision care plan offered by my work (my work pays for 100% of it and it's free) and avoid paying for an eye exam. However it's been months and I still haven't gotten a response back from them.

I had surgery over ten years ago. Every day for those ten years I am thankful for the excellent service and care I received from Dr. Ellis and his staff. I started wearing glasses in the 5th grade and by the time I was in my early thirties I was nearly legally blind. Now, for over ten years I see 20/20. The procedure, which was explain thoroughly, was painless and so quick. I can't say enough about this clinic and I would recommend them 100% (and have numerous times.)

What a great experience! I love my 20/20 vision. Great staff, very friendly and lovely. Every time I've been there I feel welcome, they all treat you like family. It took me a couple months to write a review, and I apologize for that. But hey its never too late, before surgery they gave a very good explanation about the procedure. They did all the prescriptions over the phone to my closest pharmacy :-)<br>The surgery was quick, not even 10 minutes, it took me less than 2 months for my 20/20. And it wasn't even painful, I could of taken Advil for pain, bcuz the pill they prescribed made my stomach upset,(too strong) other than that everything was great. <br>It was such a great experience, they always work with my availability to go to my follow up appointments. <br>I referred a friend of mine, her mom had the surgery last week, and just like me, they loved the service.<br>I would definitely keep referring this place, 5 stars for the surgery and 10000 to the costumer service... Looooved it, thank you so much for changing my life to NO glasses yeeeeyyyy!!!<br>Karla G

Yo recomiendo esta officina y le doy 5 estrellas. Mi esposo fue a corejirse su vista y su recuperasion fue muy rapida menos de unas semana! Son muy amables y muy profesionales.. Especial la resepsionista Veronica siempre te atiende con amablidad y te ase sentir en familia! Tanbien Marleny es otra de las mejores alli te explica todo el proseso que vas a tener y es una persona muy amable y sonriente que siempre se precupa por los clientes y el dotor Ellis es muy buena gente y muy amable realmente recomiendo esta oficina! I have to give the ENTIRE STAFF 5 stars!!! They are simply amazing! I was tired of wearing glasses and something as simple as waking up from my bed turning on my TV and being able to clearly see. Also, the thought of driving and being able to read street signs and license plates made me extatic! I did not believe it was possible and I got so used to wearing glasses. I went in to see a fabulous family friend Marleny Garcia (not only is amazing but one of the happiest person on EARTH) for a consultation. After 2 months I decided to do my LASIK. I felt scared but everyone there made it easy to feel comfortable. <br><br>Doctor Ellis was also great. I will admit during the proccedure I started to hate him. However when I woke up Saturday morning and I could SEE I think like him now :). I now have 20/20 vision. I highly recomment this medical center because everyone is knowledgeble and friendly. Your money is well spent at Ellis Eye & Laser Medical Center if you want to do LASIK.
