I scheduled consultations with several Lasik surgery centers around the Sugar Land area with the intentions of ensuring I was going to receive the best care for my eyesight. After my consultation at Mann Eye Institute, I cancelled all others as I knew this center was perfect. From the moment I arrived for my consultation, everyone made me feel welcome and as though they had known me for years. Dr. Brian Tan answered every question I had and made me feel at ease about having the procedure done. As for the procedure itself, it was quick and painless. My surgeon, Dr. Brian Wright, narrated each part of the procedure so I knew exactly what was happening every single step of the way. He was very thorough with all of the post-op instructions and I left feeling very comfortable. Im now 2 months post-op and Ive been seeing 20/15 since the day after my procedure. Not only can I see more clearly than I did with contacts, but colors appear to be more vibrant and I dont have a problem seeing at night like I used to. I feel like I have super-human vision (which is even more amazing since I couldnt see a hand in front of my face prior)!I have referred several friends, family members, and co-workers to Mann Eye Institute and will continue to do so. You will not find true excellence like this anywhere else!

The staff here was super friendly and made me very comfortable. They helped me calm down and talked me through my entire procedure. I am so pleased with my results too. Thanks Mann Eye, you guys are awesome!!!

Dr. Brian Wright and the Mann Eye Institute team are the ultimate professionals. They made the entire experience from evaluation thru post procedure follow-up so easy, positive and flawless that I wished I had had the LASIK procedure done much sooner. Dont wait any longer; go see Dr. Brian today!

This experience surpassed my expectations. I was first skeptical and asked when I had my consultation if they ever denied patients LASIK? I didnt want a center that just took everyones money. Dr. B assured me patients were turned away for several reasons. The day of the LASIK I was delayed due to the machine not calibrating. I understood this as I am a nurse in a hospital where there are delays due to equipment issues, and I appreciate Dr. Mann waiting until the machine was calibrating at 100%. I was eventually seen that day. To say I was nervous was an understatement. I actually started crying to Dr. Mann out of fright. He was so kind and reassuring. Two women in the laser room held my hands and assured me through the process which was painless and quick. The whole process from start to finish; from the office staff, to ODs, to MDs were phenomenal. For the first time in 41 years I can actually see without glasses or contacts.

After years of wanting LASIK, I finally made an appointment with the Mann Eye Center in The Woodlands over the holidays. Three months later, my vision is better than I expected. Everyone I met there was incredibly helpful and addressed my concerns about the procedure. The receptionist was quick to help me. Mandy, who I met at the beginning and first told me about the procedure, was really sweet and made me realize I could afford the procedure with the 18 months of no interest financing. The technician (Maya, I think) in the back who did my dilation and prepared me for surgery helped me not freak out before my procedure, and lastly, I cant thank Dr. Melton enough. The laser was super fast, and I dont know how she did it, but I felt virtually no pain during the procedure or the days following. Thank you Mann Eye!
