Dr. Beavers helped me get my vision back to normal after suffering inconsistent vision. Mirta is very conscientious about cleaning equipment before asking me to use it. She is also very adept at homing in on the right settings for my eye prescription. David is always friendly and efficient and working the front desk.

If you're thinking of getting lasik, I highly recommend the Mann Eye Institute in Katy. This was something I didn't think I'd get done, but as soon as I walked in and was greeted by the incredibly nice ladies at the front desk I felt welcomed and comfortable. I was then called back by Tim who took the time to answer any and all questions I had. He explained the procedure and what would be done and didn't mind my millions of questions. Also, there was a special going on so I was discounted on the price (which was also amazing for such a prestigious place). I cannot thank him enough. Also, I worked with Tina A LOT. When I got home after scheduling I still had a TON of questions that I forgot to ask Dr. Wright (who by the way, was AMAZING. He has tons of experience, knows what he is doing, cares about your concerns and questions and is very professional at answering and explaining everything. Plus, he's an Aggie, that was definitely a plus in my book ;) ) Tina, was more than reassuring with my concerns and explained things in detail even more (we were probably on the phone for at least 30 minutes. She sincerely wanted me to know she understood my concerns and also answered everything openly and honestly. She honestly cared about how I felt. I can't thank her enough for everything she has done for me. She also is present with Dr. Wright during surgery and held my hand the whole time (which took less than 5 minutes probably! Felt nothing. It was amazing.) and I think that speaks volumes. She has even continued to help me after the surgery. Any and all questions I have (whether they be little or big) she answers and is just so down to earth. I love her. She is awesome. She is really caring and considerate and is also there for you....even after the procedure. That speaks volumes. I can't recommend this place enough!!! Thanks so much for everything you have done for me!! My eyes have NEVER felt better. :)

I don't know where to begin! The store manager Denise was amazing. I had a problem with my glasses and with no hesitation she fixed the problem, and I will be getting my new glasses soon! She was very patient and kind. I will definitely be a returning customer. Also, the receptionist Theresa always greets everyone with a smile! Can't beat the great customer service at Mann Eye 2 20/20 Express! This was the location nearest Baybrook Mall off Bay Area Blvd.

I read many reviews before I decided where to have my LASIK performed. Mann Eye seemed like the best that I could tell. I made an appointment. When I got there they whisked me away from room to room checking my eye sight. After an hour or two they told me I was a candidate for LASIK. There was a small debate whether I should go with blended or both eyes, but in the end we decided to do both eyes for sharper distance vision. I asked if there was a chance they could perform the surgery the same day. By luck, the had an opening later that day. I left and came back later for the surgery. They check your eyes again and then get you ready for your surgery. The surgery itself probably took about 10 minutes. I know a lot of people wonder if it hurts. They put some drops in your eyes that numb them. Besides feeling some pressure from some suction type of device, you don't feel a thing. I could see the whole time and it was easy. After the surgery you go home and rest for a bout 4 hours. Your eyes will itch during this time. After that, all is good. Just keep putting in the eye drops they prescribed and you are good to go. I can see far distances again. I just went to see the Astros at Minute Maid and it's great to see all around the stadium again. I can see the players on the field and all the stats posted around the game. It's also nice to drive around and be able to read the street signs again. They had a special going on when I went and it cost $3800 for both eyes. That seemed like a fair price to me. The people at Mann Eye were really nice, the price was right and now I can see well. Seems like a good deal to me.
