This whole process was the best. The staff is super, the procedure was quick and easy and the check ups are fast and easy. The check ups are thorough and we go over everything. I have never been to a place that they treat you so good every time you go in. I would do it again in a heart beat.

I have been going to Mann Eye Institute for a coupe of years now. They did my cataract surgery and have been treating me for dry eye. Everyone is cordial, helpful and efficient. I am pleased and would recommend them to all.

The only reason I rated Mann Eye Institute 5-stars is because I couldnt rate them higher. After some sudden changes in my vision, I tried to get in to see another practice, which is close to my home. However, they couldnt see me until mid-May! I called Mann in Humble, and when I told them what was going on with me, they got me in at 1:45 that same afternoon! Dr. Jennifer Melton was the attending Ophthalmologist, and not only does she have fantastic credentials, but her manner is warm, caring and professional. Dr. Melton combines an easy-going style with the ability to explain complex eye issues and possible outcomes in an easy to understand way. She understands a patients fears and concerns and addresses them with patience and understanding. As I left, I heard an arriving patient complaining that the building in Humble is a bit dated and kind of worn around the edges, but that matters nothing to me. Mann Eye could be in a tin building for all I care. Ill take Manns quality and standard of treatment, along with their state of the art technology and great staff over glitzy marble floors, salt water aquariums and designer K-cup coffee machines any day. Whaow! this place was quick.brI was due for an eye exam. I have been wearing contacts since age 14. I have never been a fan of glasses, although I always owned cute pairs (they would cause headaches.)brI called on a Monday-Scheduled the free consultation for that day at noon and got the procedure done Tuesday and the follow-up Wednesday (the week of Thanksgiving 2017)brDont get me wrong I have been researching Lasiks for over a decade. I figured I give the experts time to perfect their craft.brEveryone seemed knowledgeable of the entire procedure. I ask every person who handled my case several questions. I like to be informed especially when speaking about my sight.brThe procedure turned out to be a success, (thank you God!) I now see as good as I did with contacts. I have read people stating they have perfect vision after Lasik, but that is not my case. however, I am super satisfied with the results.brI feel compelled to warn you that before the sleeping pills kicked in my eyes BURNT LIKE HELL! (not figuratively speaking) I wanted to gouge them out, but then I passed and woke up as though that was all a bad dream. Amen to that!!
