Incompetent. We took my 88 year old dad to Dr. Kleinfeldt for cataract surgery about 3 years ago. After performing surgery on the left eye, my dad's vision actually became worse. He complained that it felt like glass was in his eye, and he refused to have the right eye done. In many subsequent follow up visits, each time Dr. Kleinfeldt said my dad's lens was OK. He gives patients less then 5 minutes of his time, and does not answer questions. After 3 years of my dad suffering, frustrated, we finally switched to another doctor in his practice. That doctor discovered that there was scarring behind the lens which was causing my dad's issues. She removed the scarring with a simple 10 minute outpatient procedure, and my dad could not be any happier. His vision improved dramatically.I would not recommend Dr. Kleinfeldt at all. Save yourself the agony. If there is a problem after surgery, do not expect that he will correct it or even inform you that there is a problem.

Highly recommend. Dr. Kizy takes the time to listen, and is extremely knowledgeable. After a botched cataract treatment by another doctor, and failed after treatment visits, we switched to Dr. Kizy after 3 years of frustration. She immediately identified the issue with my 88 year old dad's vision, and with a 10 minute outpatient procedure, was able to greatly improve my dad's vision and eliminate the pain he was feeling in his eye.
