This has to be the worst practice Ive ever come across. The scheduler made me an appointment based off my issue that was happening with my eye. I call the morning of my appointment and they tell me they have to cancel because the scheduler made the wrong appointment. So whose fault is that? They offered me to go on the cancellation list even though I was in pain and needed the appt urgently. I simply asked the manager if she would wait until next week to be seen especially given the circumstances she even said she wouldnt. Next time check your appointments scheduled by your coordinator to make sure they are giving patients the right appointments. I will never go to a poorly run or unprofessional establishment. Get your priorities right!

I will never go back to see him ! Never spends time with you to ask questions . He is just in and out ! . He told me I need cataract surgery. I waited and and got 3 other opinions. I have perfect eyes and do not need this surgery ! I'm never going back there. Please go to someone else ! Or get second opinions. I have never had a Doctor this bad on bed side manners !

Ophthalmic Specialists of Michigan has been my eye doctor for nearly 10 years. I am currently in an acute state with a severe concern in my eye including pain, redness, and loss of vision. I called the office to follow the Doctor's orders and plan for recurrence and was brushed off because of staffing schedules and the snow storm. I was then told that if I contacted the on call doctor they would be able to assist me and they are refusing. So, my condition will now go several days untreated and the best they can offer me - wait until your scheduled appointment or go to Urgent Care. The initial time I had this concern I sought treatment at an ER and Urgent Care and both misdiagnosed it as conjunctivitis leading to further discomfort, delayed treatment, and much anxiety/concern for my vision. I would NOT recommend OSM as their office staff is short, uncaring, and completely unconcerned for the best of their patients.

I honestly would give her a zero but I couldnt so I gave her a one. This is a review for the office on Maple rd in Troy Michigan. I would recommend not to see her and go and see Dr. Jacob Diskin at Clavenna Vision Institute. The only person that I will truly miss is Colleen. I only saw her once and that will be the last time I will ever see her. I rarely get angry and disappointed about a doctor. She rushed my appointment, I was only seen by her for at least 15 minutes. I felt my opinions and questions werent being taken seriously by her and she disregarded my feelings. I felt like she thought I didnt know how to take care of my eyes. She never even asked about my past history and how do I use my glasses. This isnt a way you treat Dr. Sklars loyal patients. Anyone whos been Dr. Sklars patient, go see Dr. Diskin. Hes the spinning image of Dr. Sklar and hes wonderful. Im very disappointed at how Dr. Sklars office is being run like a business/corporation by this new doctor.
