Doctor Vivek Mehta.What an AMAZING Pain Management Professional.He is treating me for my awful and very painful thoracic spine arthritis.I have a spinal cord stimulater that helps with the chronic pain in my spine, but not the mechanical pain.The treatments Dr. Mehta is providing to me has been slightly painful, but tolerable, during his treatment. But the after results have been terrific.I know that I will never, not, have pain in my spine, but the relief he has given me gives me hope.He and his Awesome staff have shown me so much courtesy and professionalism during all of this time.Reach out to his staff to give yourself a chance to experience his work.I will continue to give him every opportunity to continue to help me with all of the pain that I have to deal with every minute and movement I make for as long as he feels is necessary.Thank you, Dr. Mehta.

Ms. Megan, Dr. Patels nurse was Great! She knew I had previous bad experiences with pain doctors and was a bit anxious re seeing another new pain doctor. Dr. Patel was GREAT! So laid back, thorough and answered all my questions. I appreciated that so much. Upon checking out, I was told that Medicare had to approve anesthesia or it would be $300.00 dollars. I pray this goes well as I have really bad damaged back nerves and placing a needle in my cervical spine makes me very nervous and it makes me jump and that isnt good. I dont want to come to outpatient surgery in that condition and not be able to receive the shot. So I asked for anesthesia even if I had to pay for it. I was explained that the billing department would follow up on this issue. So when I saw a message from another patient that she had had issues with billing, perhaps she just forgot or in some cases, we do get some mistakes made in our services. I am praying that the shot Dr. Patel is scheduling for me and the P.T. will get me in better shape and feel like a person again. The doctors, the Spine Team surgical center for epidural injection is very successful and everybody was really nice and except for Kenisha in the billing department. I talked to her about the estimate and we talked about the Anastasia being so much. She never informed me that that was optional with this procedure that I didnt have to have that so Im being charged for something I did not have to have because she would not communicate that to the patient. I think the doctors and the billing department may notify the patient when theyre on Medicare that if the sedation is not required that its our choice did not know that till I talked to the anesthesia doctor I think this would be very helpful to the ones that are unlimited budget that if they could be better educate to educate their patients in the billing and maybe the doctor suggest that thank you otherwise everything was pleasant
