    I had the ICL surgery done on both of my eyes and although I was disappointed I didnt qualify for lasik I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Burch and his surgery team. I felt very comfortable with how the procedure was explained to me and the information I was given at multiple points throughout my preop visits. I would also like to give a huge shoutout to Riley, (nurse/technician) as she was the one helping me schedule all of the appropriate appointments and checking my vision before the surgery. She was able to help me with any concerns I had before the procedure as well and overall made my experience better. I wish I had been able to have her as my technician for the entire experience but I understand that different staff works in different areas. Dr. Burch was thorough and I felt very comfortable with letting him perform my procedure. Ive had to wear contacts/ glasses since the second grade and now after almost 18 years of dealing with poor vision I can see without needing them. Its truly remarkable to be able to wake up and see things without having to put my glasses on. Dr. Feder and her nurse/technician Lessie were also very nice and performed all of my post op visits to check my eyes and make sure everything was going well after surgery. I had a short and easy recovery time and there was always someone on staff if I had a problem.I didnt give this a 5 star review because I did have a few minor things that I was displeased with. When I first scheduled my preop visit with the doctor I was told an incorrect amount of time to not wear my contacts before the visit and I had to return to be reevaluated at a later date. I had to pick up a prescription from my pharmacy and the wrong amount of medication was called in so I had to call the office and get that squared away and pick up the medication again. I tried to show up early for most of my appointments, and I realize that they have a schedule to stick to and I wasnt necessarily wanting to be seen earlier than my appt time but I did notice that even when I was early to my appt I would wait well past my scheduled appt time to be seen (ie. appt at 9am and not seen until 9:30/9:45). I had a see a retina specialist before my procedure and was unable to use the specialists at Frantz because they have very limited availability and I had to seek an outside retina specialist.These were minor and I didnt let them affect the rest of my experience, but I did wish that they either didnt happen or could be worked on.Overall I had a wonderful experience and cant thank the doctors and staff enough that helped me be able to see again. You guys are amazing and you do incredible work, thank you again!

    My experience was a good one. First time at this office. I took my daughter in because she had a headache and loss of vision in one eye for 10 days and nothing was helping. I was able to get an appt the next day but we were there for 4 hours. I think it was because there were additional tests that they wanted to do in hopes of figuring out what was wrong. The office is very well organized and the staff is honestly delightful. When you are there, you may see several staff members because they have employees that specialize in that test you are taking. We are self insured so they made sure to let me know the cost of each test being done so there were no surprises at checkout. At the end of our visit they did tell us that her eyesight was fine so there was another issue going on. Long story short, it was a tooth infection. Her tooth never bothered her so it was hard to pinpoint but the staff was there for the long haul! Thank you!!
