Several weeks ago, my wife had fainted walking on the street and hitting her head above her left eye. It caused a large hematoma, bleeding and black and blue from head to her chest. She spent a night in the hospital. A couple of weeks later she started complaining about vision problems. She called the main office and was told by the person at the other end that she needed to see a neuro ophthalmologist and that they didn't do that sort of exam. A week later she saw her primary care doctor and could only read the top line "E" in her left eye. She was told to make an appointment with a doctor who would exam her. The next day we called back to Dr Frantz,' office. I pointed out that how poorly she was treated, especially as we were both patients. The receptionist made the call to the Naples office and assured us that she would be seen that day no matter how busy the office was. To their credit, she was seen within 5 minutes of arrival. All of the technicians were professional as was Dr Paez who assured us that there were no tears or detached retina and all tests were normal except for a "mature" cataract.

Everything was great EXCEPT told them did NOT want refraction test, since just had one, at previous eye doctor, a couple months ago. It is $50 and didn't see need AGAIN for one. Could have requested results from previous doctor, if needed. They DID NOT listen, or even discuss with me, and another was performed w/o my permission or knowledge. So when leaving, I was told I owed $50 for the test. I was livid that they did not listen to my wishes and did exactly what they pleased.

The staff here are very friendly and I never have to wait long. Dr. Paez is so kind and great to work with. I never felt pressured into purchasing anything I didn't need. I recommend this location highly.

My wife has had 4 eye surgeries from Dr. Corant and he is great. We are in the Naples office so much we should live there. The office manager Carol Luepkeyer may be OK with the employees there but is terrible with the patients. If you try to explain a staff problem to her she will cut you off and also not listen as she has made up her mind without hearing what the problem is all about. I was speaking quietly with her and she almost told me to get out of the office and refused to listen to my complaint. My wife only has one good eye and had surgery yesterday and I told the tech. Briana that I wanted the Doctor to do the eye pressure test and she was persistent that we had to see her first and that it would be done her way. I told her that my wife only had one eye and I did not want her to do the test only the doctor. she brought in the manager Carol Luepkeyer and she immediately told me not to be rude to her employee I tried to explain the problem but she would not listen. I never write these reviews but felt it should be known if you have a loved one who you are looking after the doctors are great but the manager and Brianda are not.
