There's a reason DiMillo's keeps get three star ratings: it's a great destination spot with an awesome atmosphere, but the food is usually sub par. The waitstaff is nice, but I would be too if I made over 20 bucks an hour. The last time I went there the food took forever and our waiter rarely checked on our drinks. The Gorgonzola steak was decent but seemed to be under a heat lamp for a while, making for some floppy steak fries. Of course I'll go back to DiMillo's again. The DiMillo's family loves my grandmother, but I'm not going there for the food.

We were only at the bar, so I can't vouch for the restaurant. I hear the restaurant is a tourist trap, but we were tourists, so who cares? Anyway, the view was cool and the drink specials were good. Plus, they had an impressive happy hour buffet. For $6 we got 2 beers and free access to the buffet which had soup, potato wedges, crudite, nachos, and broccoli bites. Basically ate dinner there. Felt gross after, but it was a deal.

Came to DiMillo's on the water with some friends, it's one of those spots all of the locals know as one of the nicer restaurants to go to (although perhaps more of a tourist focus and everyone knows it, it's still decent and has some good history to it).

I liked walking through the boat to get to the second floor outdoor deck. We sat outside during around lunch time and just caught a nice draft beer and some oysters. Great just to sit out there and relax. We didn't catch dinner or a full meal this time but I'd go back.
