Food was good but over priced. Waitress had a great attitude and the view from the outdoor deck was good.

My family has been going to this restaurant for years now, which means I usually go when I'm in town. To keep it simple:<br><br>Pros: It's a boat on the water, killer shrimp cocktail (these shrimp are huge), and fried lobster tails. If I recall, the baked stuffed shrimp was also good; however, it is not on the menu. (Maybe that should be put below?)<br><br>Cons: While it is on the water, being a boat and all, DiMillo's lets dockers blast their music. If the music paired with giant shrimp cocktail, fried lobster tails and a bottle of Moet, I would not have had an issue. Unfortunately some drunkard was going through the radio stations (static included). WTF?! I would also stay away form any cocktails that aren't on the menu.

One of the few places in the area where you can actually be "on the water." We decided to wait for an outside seat to become available so had a drink at the bar. We didn't have to wait long and had a seat with a good view. The food was very good - steamers, fried clams, and clam chowder. Service was ok, nothing special. There was a pretty loud table nearby which was kind of annoying, but at least they weren't swearing that much.

The food here is good. I ordered the lobster roll and my husband ordered a stemmed lobster. Both were delicious!<br>The service is what is bringing this restaurant from 4 stars to 3. The wait staff is very loud and just lounges around the bar while a few waitresses worked like crazy. I waited 10 minutes for my drink while several servers just stood around and complained to each other. But overall tasty food and I would go back. It's right on the water and has a gorgeous view. Kind if pricey but worth it for a splurge.

19 may 2014My wife and I had lunch here. The food was good my wife enjoyed her lazy man lobster meal and I enjoyed my boiled stuff 1-1/2 lb lobster. The down side to my meal was, they did not clean my lobster fully. A piece from the back below the lobster head was not clean. So my meal ends there.Our waitress was very nice. even though she mess up on my wife's drink. My wife ask for a virgin daiquiri and received one with alcohol..lol.@ my wife because she enjoyed the drink. The view was not too bad and we did not have to wait to be seated.If it was not for those two little mistake I would have gave Dilmillo's a 5 star. But next time we visit Maine we will stop here again.
