I didn't have a particularly good experience here. Usually I will try a place a couple times before writing a review, but I think this will have to do for now. The food was mediocre. The soup was great, my steak however not as much. It was 30 dollars for a filet mignon, and absolutely not worth the money. Just a chunk of meat on a plate. The fried fish sampler was cooked too much. Either that or the oil was old. I also felt like we got profiled as a young couple. A larger table of like eight came in and sat beside us about thirty minutes into our wait for our meal and they still hot our food before us. It just seemed like all the tables around us were getting more attention than us. It took us just under two hours to get our meal and leave. In my opinion, not worth the money we spent. However, it might just be cause of one bad visit. Either way, if you give it a try, stick to the seafood.

The food was pretty good but not great. We both had dual lobsters - one boiled and one stuffed. My issue is with the attitude of the restaurant. We came in there early to check the restaurant out. The hostess was totally uncaring and totally unhelpful. Despite that we came back for dinner. Again the hostess (a different one) was unhelpful and uncaring. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary. Nobody even acknowledged it. Our waitress couldn't wait to get us out of there. The restaurant closes at nine but we hadn't finished. Meanwhile another waitress started vacuuming while we were still eating. I will never eat at DiMillo's again. I have been in the restaurant business and know that this restaurant needs some serious work to do on attitude. It has to be the management.

It's good, but seems a bit touristy. Cool views if you sit outside.
