Tourist attraction..Restaurant is a boat that doesn't float if you will. Okay view of South Portland across the bay but it's not a great view..water towers ect. Food was not memorable and we left our card there and they didn't attempt to find us. Total tourist trap.

This restaurant would be getting 5 stars if we had only had the lobster stew because it was absolutely delicious and full of lobater meat! We could have just continued drinking the broth, it was so good!

However, my hubby and I both had the lobster mac & cheese for dinner and it was lousy. It had a weird taste to it and it was full of oil floating around the dish. We were torn between that or baked stuffed lobster and the waitress suggested the mac & cheese. :/ Wish we would have gone with our first choice.

We will come back for lunch and lobster stew next time we are in Portland!

I truly wish I could rate different parts of my DiMillo's experience as they all carried greatly. The view was awesome and the ambiance was very nice (five stars). We were seated immediately by the window with a harbor view.what more could you ask for?

The lobster stew! Oh my, words cannot describe how amazing this is! The broth is nice and creamy with enormous chunks of delicious lobster meat, claw and tail. I would call this a mix of lobster bisque and clam chowder for consistency and flavor. Just the broth and the lobster; but trust me you need nothing else (five stars times infinity)!

I was torn on my meal between the baked stuffed lobster and the lobster mac and cheese. I went with the mac and cheese and that is where the five hits. The Mac and cheese portion of the dish was not very cheesy, and quite runny. Of course the lobster was good, but the base of the dish really was not very appealing. Since they gave some garlic bread with the dish, I decided to sop up the juice with the garlic bread. Unfortunately, this is what I tasted for the rest of the evening was an overpowering garlic bread taste (zero stars).

So sadly, the delicious lobster stew flavor was obliterated by the mac and cheese with nuclear power garlic bread and this is what I will remember about DiMillo's. I would go next time for lunch only and just stick with the lobster stew. Why ruin a good thing?
