I really want to rate this place a 3.5 out of 5, but Yelp doesn't let you do factional ratings, so I will round down to a 3.

We went here around dinner time on the Saturday before Memorial Day. It was very busy, (the parking lot was filled up), and we didn't have a reservation. No problem, they were still able to seat us at a table with a view of the bay. That is a sign of how big this place is on the inside. A lot of the people on the inside were clearly tourists, but many tables were also clearly locals celebrating a special event. There was even a newly married couple in the restaurant, the bride still in her wedding dress.

We ordered a variety of seafood: salmon haddock, shrimp, and scallops. I thought the scallops were spectacular, but the other food was merely good. The price was a bit high: you were clearly paying a premium for the fact that you are technically on a boat and that the restaurant is clearly a local landmark and tourist attraction (there is a gift shop on the premises). The service was also very slow. Curiously, our waitress kept coming up to us to apologize for neglecting us, when you think she could have used some of that time to provide service and not just apologize.

This is a good restaurant in the aspect that its Maine so there isn't that many places. For an App I got the Bacon Wrapped Scallops. They were way overcooked and just didn't taste very fresh. I had the Lobster dinner which came with I whole lobster, Clam Chowder, Green Beans, clams which I swapped out for scallops and a Loaded Baked Potato. First off the price of the lobster was a record high due to the bay being frozen over and the fisherman not getting the normal amounts of lobster. I believe it was right around $49.00 a pound at the market. What I have been finding is that the lobster is fresh up in Maine but they don't do anything special with them, they are just steamed. Grilled lobster or serve lobster with different sauces that compliment the lobster would be amazing. But Everywhere I had it in Maine it was just super plain. It was good but I have definitely had better.

This place is okay. Food quality is good enough. Also you are on a boat, which is a bonus in itself. This is the type of place that maybe your parents or grandparents would like more than you.

The food was okay. The location and the nautical ambiance is awesome. I got scallop carbonara and the scallops were plain and dried out. The pasta was fine but the carbonara sauce was bland. I don't k ow ehat it needed but it definitely needed something. Another guy at my table got bacon wrapped scallops and those were delicious. The complimentary bread was good. One person had seafood scampi and it was really good, fried scallops weren't good. The breading was weird and had no flavor and neither did the scallops themselves. Service was okay, not great. The waitress acted like we were an inconvenience.

This is a pretty cool place to eat if your visiting Maine. You eat dinner on a ship looking out to the water. The salmon was really good. I never had honey mustard on my salmon before and it tasted great. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese lobster was alright. I was a little disappointed by it. It was a Bowtie pasta with a cream sauce. The lobster was really good though.
