Food was good but service was not. Took a very long time to get drinks and our food was not served at the same time (group of 4 people). Considering the price definitely not worth the money, there are alot of other choices in Portland.

This has a good atmosphere but the service was bad. She took forever to take our order (the place was empty) and she didn't refill our water. The clam chowder was great but everything else was not. We had meatballs with ricotta as an appetizer but they were not good at all! They were cold when she served them.

I have been eating at DiMillo's over 30 years. I would have always given a 5 star review. The service, atmosphere and food have been amazing all of these years. Tonight, with my steamed clams and steamed lobster, they served "clarified butter". This is so wrong on all levels! I tend to go there at least 4 times a month and always get steamers, and sometimes lobster. Not only will I not order either of these again if the "clarified butter" is included, but I may just go elsewhere. Not cool DiMillos.

Ambiance was great! But steak was overcooked and lobster was not as fresh as it was at other restaurants in Maine.

We had scallop and lobster. Food was good but nothing especially about it and it should cost less than the price on the menu. <br><br>Service was very good <br><br>On the other hand, bread putting was to die for!! <br>Damn that was good. <br><br>For the price of it, I do not recommend this place. <br>But cone for the location or hype you hear about.
