I saw Dr Urman for a problem with IOP. A few weeks prior to my appointment, I had a phone conversation with him in which I told him about my condition and the main question I had about it. He encouraged me to go ahead and see him. So I saw him. The whole visit lasted about 7 minutes. Dr Urman coolly informed me that he doesn't really deal with problems like mine, and that I should see other specialists. Fair enough. But why couldn't he have told me that during that original phone conversation? Would have saved me a lot of time (and some money as well).

This place stinks. 1030 appointment its now noon and still havent been seen yet! Why make a 1030 appointment when you cant be seen for 1.5 hours after!??? These hospital and doctors should be ashamed of themselves with these wait times! Unreal!!!! I usually dont bother with boston base hospitals! The wait times are ridiculous and traffic terrible!

I was told before my appointment they accepted my insurance, and i booked a basic screening. Waited weeks for a basic screening. I arrived and was told by reception that I had an appointment with a specialist that I didn't ask for, and they didn't accept my insurance, so I'd have a ridiculously high payment up front. Then they said "oh the provider who accepts your insurance might be able to squeeze you in, instead", and then said they'd have to ask her. I asked when I'd know, they said 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes, went back up to the reception, and asked for an update. They said "oh that person doesn't get in for another half hour, and we'll have to wait to ask her". We're they just going to ignore me immediately? Laughably bad waste of an hour, and they insinuated they might charge me for a missed appointment (but to be fair they didn't). Terrible, never got seen, and would never trust an office this poorly run to bill me correctly or schedule appointments even if I had seen the optometrist.

I went to Dr. Morkin for cataract surgery consultation. First visit, cancelled, second visit, unproductive since no one told me that I couldn't wear my contact lenses for two weeks prior. Nevertheless, her surgical coordinator attempted to have me sign release forms, including signing off on more expensive lenses and additional laser surgery even though I had no idea what was involved, since I hadn't even seen Dr. Morkin yet. Third visit, machines were broken, and I spent 2 hours being shuttled around with no explanation. Again, her surgical coordinator wanted me to sign off on the more expensive lenses and surgical dates. I followed up with her by phone to say that I didn't have anyone to drive me to the first surgical appointment - her advice? Just get an Uber. Not appropriate for someone having any type of anaesthesia. And if I deferred to a later date? Dr. Morkin would likely be on maternity leave, for at least 3 months, with no one taking her place. Dr. Morkin's staff is incredi

This clinic made a mistake on my bill, overcharged me hundred dollars for the service supposed to be a free routine eye exam which was covered by my insurance benefit. The billing person was very difficult to reach as she does not work on site. Need to improve its service especially on its billing part.
