    I had cataract surgery from a different ophthalmologist almost 4 years ago and had some permanent retina damage. I was warned it was a possibility. My other eye needed attention then but I was too apprehensive because of the original surgery so I put it off until now and had to do something. Dr. Weinstock was highly recommended by two friends in the medical profession and I'm so happy I chose him to do the current surgery. I've had 4 appointments so far, initial one on Central Ave in St. Petersburg and the others at the Largo surgery facility. At each one I was seen before my scheduled time and everyone was courteous, caring, and knowledgeable. This surgery appears to be a complete success and I'm SO happy I chose Dr. Robert Weinstock! I can SEE CLEARLY NOW!

    Dr. Cothran took over my glaucoma care after my former ophthalmologist at the Eye Institute of West Florida retired last year. She is very knowledgeable and professional. Though she often is quite busy, she is always thorough and takes time to answer my questions and explain my care. She seems genuinely passionate about her work, which makes a huge difference.
