    The new facility is beautiful and clean. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Dr Kirsch is a excellent doctor and would recommend him.

    In April 2020 I suffered a rapid and violent infection on my right eye. After being treated in the local hospital emergency room, I got an appointment to see Dr. Desai the next day, at which point my eye was essentially blind from scarring. Over the course of nine weeks, he managed my infection through weekly appointments. He was always very clear on what was happening and why he was prescribing various antibiotics and antifungal drops. We eventually got the infection under control and he did a corneal transplant on the eye. It is just over two months since my surgery and my vision is much improved. Dr. Desai is an amazing corneal specialist and a very skilled surgeon. I highly recommend him and the rest of the Eye Institute of West Florida team.

    Dr. Johnson is always very thorough with the eye exam; he explains everything he is doing and what his findings. He always compares the current exam to the past one, I always great about going. The entire staff is so nice and genuinely caring. All the safety measures for a healthy and safe environment. I have been going for all my eye appointments to Dr. Johnson for many years and hope I never have to change.
