    Dr. Desai was a breath of fresh air. After learning from another Doctor that not only did I have to have cataract surgery, but that I had an underlying diagnosis of Fuch's Dystrophy which would be worsened by having cataract surgery, I sought out a second opinion and found Dr. Desai who was not only a cataract surgeon but also a cornea surgeon. On my initial visit I was immediately comfortable with Dr. Desai. He put me at ease about my Fuch's Dystrophy and my needed cataract surgery. His demeanor and confidence in his ability to take care of my problem gave me much peace after several months of consternation. Yesterday he operated on my right eye cataract and next week will do the same on my left eye. The entire staff at the Eye Institute has been wonderful. They go to great effort to make sure you understand everything and they follow up with any concerns you have. I am delighted I found Dr. Desai and the Eye Institue of West Florida.

    Dr, Sacksteder is excellent. He takes the time to listen to his patients and is very genuine. His care is thorough and efficient. I would highly recommend him.
