    dr. hairston is the best. if you are in need of an opthalmologist and want the best, see dr. hairston. he is not only a great M.D., he has great doctor-patient relationship.

    The surgery process seemed smooth and efficient from pre-op to follow-up. Everything was explained well, and the warm blanket in pre-op was welcome and comforting. Staff very nice and professional. I had difficulty lying on my back for what seemed like a long time and my restless legs started acting up. Wow, I really am old, I have things that "act up". They did their best to make me comfortable, and the anesthetist helped out with the Versed. Right eye was great, left eye a bit more problematic, but it hasn't been a week since the 2nd op, and I have been able to work on the computer without too much eye strain. I would certainly recommend Dr. Desai and the Eye Institute anyone needing cataract surgery.

    Appointment was to check on nevus. But Dr. Kirsch discussed options beyond that for vision correction and cataracts.
