    I had an appointment on the 8th of July 2024 had a really great appointment no problems at the time appointment I did let them know that I do not want bifocals in any shape or form I just don't like them they said no worries they said that I was to get progressive eyewear no other information was given I thought it a brand of glasses I was not told that they are going to be triple bifocals I was not thinking that they were going to be any type of bifocal have you ever heard of triple bifocals there are three different types of vision in one set of eyeglasses STUPID and dangerous especially if you're trying to drive I even explained to the young lady that I was not told what provision actually was triple bifocals I let the young lady know Keri Tuck that I did not want bifocals and the original visit I stated that I did not want any bifocals under any certain terms they went ahead and build my insurance $580 for the triple bifocals I also told them that today I refused these glasses the young lady keri Tuck tell me that she would go ahead and make me some readers seen I refused to take the bifocals on the way home I got to thinking my new ordered glasses reading glasses we're going to be much cheaper I called their billing department found out it was my insurance said they were billed $580 for the triple bifocals but this office says they only build my insurance 540 also 2 days after my initial appointment I received a bill in the mail for $49 eye doctors office are not supposed to be billing the customer 2 days later because none of the insurances have been sent to our insurance for payments they are not supposed to be sending a bill two customers until all of insurance claims have been paid so if our insurance pays in full there is no money out of our pockets unfortunately being shady try to billing me $49 which turned out I did not have to pay I asked them the billing department if I was going to pay the $49 would they refund me $49 if my insurance paid the whole bill they said no that I would have to fight my insurance but yet they get to keep the $49 I don't think so I talked to Keri Tuck I told her that I would appreciate getting the difference seeing my readers were going to be cheaper than the original glasses that was built $580 she told me that I would not be getting any reimbursement for the difference nor will my insurance I didn't expect any for myself but at least get some of my benefits back that they falsely took or at least my insurance would get reimbursed the young lady also said that she would not be resubmitting another claim because I signed a paper stating I was getting progressive glasses I told her of my initial appointment and what I stated at time of appointment so I'm going to refuse to pick up the wrong ordered glasses or the new glasses I spoke to my insurance they told me that they are not supposed to be doing these tactics so I have filed a grievance with my insurance claim department be very careful because they are shady so when they say progressive glasses it is a catch phrase that they're going to get you misleading you to understand it's one way when it's actually another and have you sign a paper so now they are claiming that they don't have to give any money back also my insurance stated they are not supposed to be billing anybody until all of the claims and you pick up product so I don't appreciate the sleight of mouth comes to their office practices never ever have I had anything like this happen and I have had this UnitedHealthcare dual plus complete and other State insurance along with Medicaid and Medicare since 2005 I could probably work for my insurance company I know my insurance and my insurance right so well so they basically to me they are fraudulently misleading, stealing by misrepresenting and taking my benefits in a sleight of hand way PATIENT BEWARE. THEY PRACTICE MISLEADING BILLING AND MISREPRESENTATION SERVICES AND SLEIGHT OF MOUTH PRACTICING

    I had an emergent appointment set for my elderly mother to have her retinas checked (which was required by her PCP before beginning a medication). The day before the appointment, I get a phone call cancelling the emergent appointment and telling me "something came up" and the appointment needed to be cancelled - ironically this cancellation is the week before the July 4 holiday week. My mother used to be a patient because she liked this practice. No more. I will be finding another opthalmologist to treat her. This is a sad state of doing business especially since this is concerning a patient's EYES!! The next available appointment is in August which is over a month away. This is NOT acceptable. The other suggestion this office gave me was for me to take my mother to another opthalmologist.... don't worry, we will be seeking a new one.

    I had an appointment at 3pm,, finally was finished at 5pm and sent to the other side to pick out glasses and contacts. Was told by the lady that they close at 430. Not my fault a simple eye exam took so long. She was nice enough to stay and order my stuff, however after a week of wearing them and headaches i went back to have them checked. I was given the wrong prescription. They ordered me the right ones, ended up charging me $45 more for the different contacts. (which I paid for) then 6 weeks later I get a text message that I still owe them $60. I paid in full for everything. I have tried calling twice and left messages and no one returns a call. Very disappointed in this service.UPDATE: after leaving my review my call was returned by a very nice gentleman who confirmed that due to a new system a text message was sent and I do not have a balance due and he apologized on someone elses's behalf.

    I so appreciate how quick the appointment was made, my eyes have been watery for 3 months, previous optometrist diagnosed "dry eyes' recommended otc eyedrops, which didn't help. Unfortunately the problem exists my primary referred me to this eye group, so glad she did!The Dr did a thorough exam of both eyes, very professional and gentle, he prescribed the accurate drops for my eye condition, 4 days later no more tears, wow! feels great. The front desk personnel were so helpful friendly. Yes, I highly recommend this group if you have small or large issues with your eyes. 10 StarsUpdate: June 4 2024Sadly the Dr group has failed to follow up with me after my dry eye condition became worse ! Very disappointed I paid my bill etc. Left several messages finally my PCP. Prescribed more eye drops fortunately I have found another Eyecare group who have been exceptional! So I don't recommend Cunningham group as zi intially reviewed.
