This practice is a ripoff. Both my wife and I visited the practice and both have come away vowing never to return. In my case, I have been wearing contact lenses for over 40 years and NEVER was charged a fee for a contact lens fitting (have always been charged a refraction fee that insurance does not cover - some how I don't see the difference). Over $200 for an exam and then a $75 contact lens fitting fee (for 1 contact no less!). In my wife's case, they did an exam but could not fit her with glasses that corrected her vision better than the 5 year old ones she is currently wearing. After paying almost $900 for the glasses (lots of add-ons), they finally agreed to take them back less a $60 restocking fee. The frames came right out of their display! And they should have better quality control on the making of the lenses.

Really disappointed in my experience. I called and booked and appointment for updated glasses & contacts rx (and explained exactly what I needed because Im looking to order colorblind glasses)Fast forward to the day of my appointment, I drove up to Knoxville and waited for my appointment, just to be told that they would not give me my pupillary distance because I was not buying my glasses there. I even offered to pay a fee to get the pupillary distance. I would happily have purchased my glasses from them if they offered any sort of color blind options, but they do not have ANY. I was simply told that they would not give me my pupillary distance if I was not buying glasses there. And that was the end of the appointment. So I wasted my time, my only day off this week, and my gas for nothing.Thats pretty petty for a eye doctor, as it is some thing that you can technically measure for yourself at home or get done at any eyeglass center. I just wanted to be certain that the measurement was correct per a professional so that Im not wasting $400 on ill fitting glasses.Wish I could give zero stars for a lack of professionalism.

Great people very nice but the cost is outrageously overpriced.. they wanted to charge me $300 to fix a broke lens!!!! Walmart or Warby Parker $200 to fix a lens and got a new pair of glasses to boot ., insurance gouging

I was there in 2020 for glasses for myself & my husband. During my exam the Dr made the comment I had pressure in my eye. His words were you have a little pressure in your eye, but we aren't going to worry about that right now. He acted like it was no big deal. Didn't tell me to come back to check it or that I needed to go to a specialist. Never thought of anything more about it. Well back in January I got a sudden case of acute closure glaucoma. Caused a hemorrage in my eye. Why didn't he tell me I needed to be seen by a specialist? I suffered with headaches being dizzy upset stomach for 2 years. I thought it was sinuses. And here it was undiagnosed glaucoma. Why did he not tell me that the pressure meant I had the start of glaucoma? Now I have to have extensive surgery on my eye. And still a chance I could lose my vision. He was the doctor he should have told me that pressure in the eye was serious. He just shrugged it off.I will say the young man who fits you for glasses was absolutely great. He knew his job & was very good at it.
