    Receptionist was very rude and uninviting both times I have been in the office. When stating I had called, response was "you did not call here!" After being told this multiple times rudely. She finely explained they do not get any calls at rhus office in Maryville. They ALL are forwarded elsewhere. Not sure why she sits there. I was billed 2 weeks later a charge of $35 for a copy of my eyeglass RX.

    I'd give zero stars if I could. Most unprofessional office I've ever dealt with. Making an appointment was easy. Had a call from a receptionist the day before my appointment to give insurance info. No big deal. Get to my appointment. They ask for all my insurance info again. I told them I had just given my insurance info to a rep the day before. She says "oh that must have been the call center" ummmm ok what's the point of them calling them? The appointment rooms are old and dirty looking. The eye doctor was nice, and I did like her. So I order the contacts the doctor put me in. Come to find out the contacts are $70 per box but insurance will pay for a lot of it so I order them. Later I do research, everywhere else sells these contacts for $50 or less. Now I'm screwed because I've already used the insurance. So I went to pick up my contacts. The place is closed due to a Christmas party. It's December 9th. You really need to close a whole day for a Christmas party? Today I go in to try and pick up my contacts again. The woman who dispenses the contacts is gone from lunch from 12:30-2. You all really can't hire or train someone else to pick up a box of contacts and let me pay for them?? The younger receptionist is down right rude. I'll drive 30 minutes to my old eye doctor instead. This place is a joke.

    Sorry Dr. Taylor I tried to see you on 11/4 but was told i had to pay 150.00 before u would see me. I have seen u for the past 5 years and never had to pay upfront and my ins has paid u 1000's of dollars.your rec was very rude and was no help at all. So i guess it's time to find a new doc. i never had this problem at your knoxville office

    Read carefully these posts about the billing at Campbell Cunningham Taylor and Haun. I too am an unhappy patient as a result of less than transparent explanation of fees. I was quoted a final cost for my operation by a rep in the Weisgarber office and the quote did not represent the total final cost. Now get this: I received a bill AFTER I was told that my account was paid in full, and the Weisgarber rep told me to ignore the bill. I continued getting a bill from this group, and each time, the Weisgarber rep said that I was paid in full, that I should ignore the bill, and that she would call and correct this error. Imagine my surprise when I received the third notice for payment and when I confronted the Weigarber rep, she not only told me again to ignore it, but related that she hadn't made any calls to correct my account--this after she stated twice in two months that she would call to straighten out what she deem erroneous billing. Run away as fast as you can from this group. Run fast, run faster, and don't look back!
