Called if they my insurance, gave all the info over the phone. At appoint they said they dont take my insurance. Waste of time....

Took my daughter here for eye appointment. She had her intial appointment and I was charged $135 for the visit. Then I was made aware that she needed to have an appointment for a contact class. I was made to believe that that wouldn't be any extra of a charge. It would fall under the eye exam. I took my daughter back for the "contact class" and we were out in 10 minutes. I was told that I didn't owe anything. Two weeks later I get a bill for $200 for her class that took 10 minutes. I was dumbfounded as to how the class could be more than the actual exam. I have paid $325 and haven't even gotten the glasses yet. I will not be going back here!

My mother seen Dr. Cunningham. He was very rude and does not know how to talk to patients. My mother is a smoker and he seemed like he was more concerned with her smoking then he was about her eyes. Other than sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours waiting for her surgery. She ended up having cataracts taken out of both eyes and everytime he always had something smart to say to her about her smoking. My mother is old enough to know what smoking does to her and she is old enough to make that decision on her own, she doesn't need his smart remarks to tell her smoking is bad, he should focus on her eyes but no. Even when he wasn't ta lil king to her about her smoking he was being a smart *** about everything. Definitely made my mom feel like the scum of the earth, like he was better than her. I would NEVER recommend him to nobody.

The woman who handles scheduling is perhaps one of the rudest people Ive ever talked to. I was on the fence about finding another optometrist but this confirms that Im better off somewhere else. Your employees who answer the phones and deal with the public are your most important assets. Theyre the first contact many patients have. Id be ashamed to have this type of customer service at my business.
