Had an apt today as a Np there was no parking... ok. good sign right. Dr Campbell receptionist worked very hard for about 15 min with patients ahead of me.While the two receptionist to the right of her shared pictures on there cell phones for the entire time. Not professional and not ok with me. I told a nurse I said look this receptionist is working very hard and they are on there cell phones. She said they all have different jobs to do. So I just wrote a note on Dr Campbell's card telling him I did not think we would be a good fit. This is my eyes we are talking about. Not trusting a distracted person who is not working with any of my information. I know it's his office and he can pay them to share cell info but I just want more. Thank you for your time.

I submitted my cataract r eye for removal and getting a crystalens inplant.Dr Taylor performed the pre op,", the op and the post op.No issues with dr Taylor. He was very professional, personal, informative. Then I arrived at the Eye Surgery Center of East Tennessee for said surgery and experienced such demeaning treatment by the staff. Since I was the last patient of the day.....it was 11:00 AM (it was a snowy day and all other patients had cancelled) so the office and surgical staff were beyond rude in getting me treated and pushed out the door.In my younger years I was a practicing pediatric nurse practitioner for several decades,I'm well attuned to patient rights and just simply being treated with respect.Since I believe. this surgical center is owned and operated by the 4 physicians in this practice, I put owness on them for permitting such unprofessional actions of their employees.Forgive me if my spelling and punctuation is in error. It has been 28 hours since my surgery and letters/words are a blur

I went for a routine eye appointment, which was a bit disorganized but ultimately fine. The real problem was their billing department, which is the worst I have ever encountered. After my appointment, I paid my copay and went on my way... Only to later be billed a $100 "contact lens fitting fee." I've worn contacts for 15 years and have never been charged this. When I called to understand and then dispute it, I found the women in the billing department to be rude, unhelpful, and to have virtually no information. I'm not one to write online reviews - that's how bad the service was.

After months of back and forth and hours of my life wasted on hold with my insurance company, I finally resolved the issue. My insurance company was my savior. That's how terrible this office is, folks. I will never be back.

I've heard of others who have visited here receiving a similar bait-and-switch. That's illegal for other companies, but fine for Campbell, Cunningham, & Taylor, it seems. Best of luck to anyone who dares to go here!

Needless to say, I went to Tennessee Lasik on Cogdill Road for my lasik surgery. Professional from top to bottom and no hidden fees!

not considerate regarding time at all. I have been with CCT for over 4-5 years now, each time giving them another chance. One incident I sat for two hours waiting to be seen. I finally got up and said I was leaving. They assured me they had an emergency so I waited it out to be seen. I skipped last year but went back just a month ago. I was determined that if after an hour I will still sitting in the front lobby I would let them know they are just too busy to show some respect for my time. I work in a medical office and know that just because doctors allow this it doesn't HAVE to happen. After one hr I got up and said I would have to leave. They offered to get a supervisor yet that took 20 more minutes for her to come up and get me back in. Again they apologized for an emergency. This is just the standard phrase rather than the truth. There are plenty of good eye doctors out there and this place obviously has too many patients to treat them with respect. Our patients are not kept waiting for more than 5-10 minutes in the lobby. and then we the staff are repremanded.
