Dr Melki was amazing. The whole process makes you feel relaxed and in good hands. I was also surprised at how quick the recovery was, I was able to see very clearly right after the 4 hour post-surgery nap. My burning / tearing mostly went away after 2 hours. The surgery itself is quick and only 30 seconds per eye feel uncomfortable / weird. The laser part is actually the smoothest. Overall this surgery is super cool, I'm still impressed Lasik has been around for so long with how futuristic it feels.

Everything from the initial consultation to the follow-up procedure was efficient and effective. Every member of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The entire process took about 2-3 weeks (from initial consult through surgery). Every question I had was answered with a smile and sufficient information. Even the surgery day itself went forward with a single delay or issue. Every step of the way there is a friendly face offering assistance to make sure you are comfortable with the process and know what to expect. The surgery itself is about 25 minutes, and most of those minutes are in prep. There are about 5 minutes of mild discomfort during the procedure. I would not describe it in any other way-Its discomfort, a slight discomfort at that. The next morning I was able to drive without glasses for the first time in about 20 years. It is truly a life altering procedure. I cant recommend the procedure and the practice enough. I look forward to recapping my story to anyone who asks (and I assume that will be everyone I see for the next few months since no one has seen me without glasses in decades) Thanks for everyone involved!
