The team at Boston Vision in Brookline, MA, was professional from the moment I walked in the door. The free consultation was thorough, and I was given time to speak with the doctor about LASIK in detail and ask numerous questions; I never felt rushed. As a surgeon myself, I was terrified of anything going wrong with my eye surgery - my eyes are my livelihood! I left the consultation feeling informed, comfortable and ready to schedule the surgery. The procedure itself seems like its over before it starts. The eye pressure from the machine is uncomfortable, but it only lasts about 30 seconds. For the ride home from the procedure, my eyes were very teary and stinging, but after a 4-hour nap, all of the discomfort was gone. The eye drop routine is super manageable, and I couldnt believe how well I was seeing the night following the surgery. Im 6 days postoperative, and my eyes feel completely back to normal. I have to keep reminding myself that I dont have to take my contacts out at the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend Boston Vision for LASIK.
