If I could give a zero, I would. They dont care that I waited an hour and no one checked on me. I waited another 20 minutes in the exam room and again, crickets from the tech folks or md.The doctor said I wouldnt have to pay, but 9 months later Im still getting billed. And theres no one to discuss this with in Portland. Billing is done out of state.Worst business run company Ive ever dealt with.

Disappointed with Maine Eye Centers patient responsiveness. 2+ hour wait times for appts with no communication from techs. Receptionist are incredibly rude on the phone. No one seems to have an internal phone number for billing, just the outsourced 3rd party billing. Took 2 weeks of phone calls to get a copy of my "good enough" prescription in the mail and not once has a provider asked me how the sudden changes in my vision have impacted my lifestyle. Maine eye center needs to invest in their staff with a re-focus on leadership, Staff training and customer service.

I arrived to my first appointment and sat waiting for more than thirty minutes with no communication about the wait. Just as I was about to leave, I was finally brought back to discover the doctor my appointment was with was not in fact the specialist I needed to see due to an error in the scheduling department. Dr. Kahn was cold, insensitive and a pretty miserable person overall. Would not recommend going back here.
