    My husband had an eye appt. today at 11 a.m. Long story short we left at 1:50 p.m and the doctor saw hin for no more than 5-8 minutes. We spent the majority of our time in a small room with no windows waiting for the doctor to come in. We are both in our 80's, we were never offered any water and no one checked on us the entire time until we poked our heads out into the hallway to look for an employee. We were told the doctor would be with us in a minute, so we returned to our seats in the small room. 15 minutes later he finally arrived. This was very unacceptable to us apologies or not.

    Ever sit in the parking lot after an appointment and wonder, what the hell just happened? Then feel bad for the people going into the clinic after you, and want to warn them all?I knew of the bad reviews, both here and from employees on Indeed. I know that some of the former owners are gone, and that there was a new CEO in 2022. I had guarded expectations. The place is still broken. Im sure wonderful people, but this place is a medical factory, and just cant be patient centered. It cant care about your expectations or needs. Check all the boxes, maximize billable services, with no room or time to listen when an individual asks why? or how come?I was escorted from an exam room when it became clear I was not going to be a nice cog in the machine. I could afford to walk away today, despite the 90 minute drive and day off from work, but with their monopoly on specialty ophthalmologists, Im worried about what Ill do for care when my issue returns. Boston? Come begging back and drop my standards for being treated like an individual? Not sure.TLDR: cant recommend, but you might not have a choice.

    Not impressed. I had an appointment after which I was scheduled for a follow up. Later, I had to call to change the follow up date but they had nothing on the schedule for me even though they scheduled it when I was there. Brilliant! More recently I called with an urgent need - an infected stye needing antibiotics. I called at 8:30 in the morning and didn't receive a call back until 3:45 that afternoon. The message stated that I needed to call back within 15 minutes as they closed at 4. WHAT?! I'm not the one who took 7.25 hours to respond! I didn't receive the message until after 4, but they wouldn't have seen me within 15 minutes anyway and there's no way I could have gotten there within that timeframe even if they did make an appointment within those 15 minutes. I imagine they were going to make me wait until the following week, with a bad infection. Thanks!

    My toddler's experience was great until she, her father and I encountered Dr. Berman. He asked me questions and constantly interrupted the answers. He did not even attempt to speak to my child nor did he accommodate to her sensory needs. The exam itself was rushed and they were 40 minutes late calling her back after her eyes were dilated.
