I have retinal occlusion with edema. I was scheduled to have my very first shot injection and BELIEVE me...I was VERY nervous!!! Michelle (his nurse technician) was wonderful in explaining EVERYTHING!! After my retina images were done, about 10 minutes later, I got called back into the exam room. I had told his other nurse technician that I was REALLY nervous about getting the shot. She said that "if it will make you feel any better, you won't be needing the shot injection". Dr. Parchue told me that I had virtually no swelling in my left eye and that it went away on its own. I was SO happy!!! The reason why I am giving 4 stars is because Dr. Parchue doesn't like to take the time to explain things to his patients or answer any questions. That raises a HUGE red flag for me!!
