    I had noticed flashes of light that originated in my eye, and early in the morning I called Milwaukee Eye Care to set up an appointment. Dr. Heilmann was able to fit me in to his schedule that same day. Upon examination, the symptoms were said to be caused by vitreous detachment, which is normal for someone my age. Thankfully, Dr. Heilmann was able to rule out a retinal detachment, which would have been much more serious. Dr. Heilmann was capable, caring, and pleasant. I would highly recommend him as an eye doctor.
