Caveat, I am a local, so even though I hadn't been until this week I would have echoed my other locals and told you it was a tourist trap. That said, did go in with an open mind. I adore seafood so I was excited! We went with family who was visiting from out of town. Driving into town I called because it said on the website to call ahead, but the young lady on the phone told me no, I could only put my name in in person. Odd since it contradicted the website. The food was very pricey for what you get. Such as $21 for a very underwhelming lobster roll which was very bland. The folks who got the fish sandwich liked it but felt it was a small serving of fish compared to other restaurants, and for what you would expect for the price. You can definitely get better seafood and more of it from other seafood restaurants on Commercial Street. What surprised me was we were there for a late lunch on a weekend, so after the lunch rush and not crowded. It took us at least 40 mins to get our food. And no one had anything complicated, just clam chowder, lobster roll, crab roll, fish sandwich. Would not choose to go again.

Nice views on the back deck. Good food but service was slow and inattentive. Took an hour and fifteen minutes to get a bowl of clam chowder. That was after the fish and scallops came out an hour after ordering. Server John was slow. Wouldn't go back.

Went in with high hopes with good recommendations from the hotel staff. I got the lazy lobster and it was tough and chewy. Didn't really taste fresh either to be honest. My wife got the Alfredo and it was mostly sauce with a few noodles. Way over priced for what we got and extremely disappointing taste. Definitely an overpriced tourist trap.

Terrible, the clam chowder tastes like Campbell's chicken noodle soup, the portions are small, the food is bland , and Overpriced

The food was good, but not worth the price tag. I had the lobster roll & clam chowder. My wife had lobster Mac & Cheese.

The lobster had a nice flavor but was tough in both meals. The clam chowder could have easily been from a can.

The setting was nice, but a bit stuffy. You're paying for ambiance, not quality food. Would've been great to have a mixture of both.
