The atmosphere was lovely. The staff was great. The salad was delicious. BUT the reason I went was the lobster. I ordered the Lazy Lobster. I was so disappointed. It was chewy. Some bites I could not even get chewed up. If they could correct this, this place would be fantastic.

It was our first night for a long weekend in Portland. Decided to give DiMillo's a try. The atmosphere was AMAZING! such a beautiful boat with documented history and pictures. Then it went downhill from there, it was later in the evening, about 8PM on a Thursday night and we chose to sit in the bar area. The waitress came by but didn't give us any menus, finally got those after I got up and retreived them. We had asked for bread, that showed up after our appetizers. The menu wasn't too exciting and the prices were high, but we saw a special on spaghetti and meatballs so we went for it. It was OK, not super wonderful, except the noodles were cooked nice, al dente. The service was horrible as we continued to get up and ask for drinks, the long awaited bread, condiments, etc. It wasn't busy. We interrupted the bartenders and waitresses' conversations with our questions. Would NEVER go back for food. Dinner for 2 meals, 1 appetizer and 3 alcoholic drinks - $100! Might for a drink because its such a cool building.

Server is terrible here. I had to go to the bar to get my own drinks. Food is ok.
